How many 20 litre bags do you think you would be after token? As something that size may require a min order, but I'll ask the question.
So I'll get a quote of the supply of 1 gallon (~4L) bags for the rest of them? Which will measure aprox 10"x14"
I'll get a quote on 1000 of these to start and then can adjust later if more want in.

If they do end up being close to a dollar each, I might be interested in about 50. Depends on price though.

1 supplier says the min they will deal in is 5000 bags plus oxygen absorbers, but the price has come back for RE bags to be very cheap and might be able to get them closer to 50c a bag + absorbers. Still waiting quite from other mob.
What sort of dimensions do you want your 20l bags token?

I was reading somewhere that some of the bags coming out of China are poor quality, and that the quality can be very variable. I assume that as Mylar is a brand (isn't it?) all bags that are actually Mylar bags should be consistently good?

I import a lot of engineering gear out of china and its problematic to say "the x out of china is bad quality" often there are many factories producing the same item and quality varies between factories. There are a lot of really high quality products coming out of china these days and it just comes down to knowing who to buy from and if dealing with a trading company making sure they understand you'll pay the extra 10c to get the quality product.

That all depends on unit price tbh mate, as i have a large family and want to increase stock for friends also, and or take advantage of buying by the pallet load or direct from farmers here.

What sort of dimensions do you want your 20l bags token? Ones that would easily have some play in fitting in a 20litre plastic pale with a lid. Id like to fill them to the brim, so having that bag overhang to seal and push in would be good. Im unsure about specific dimensions on that though mate, apologies.

Great. I have no experience with this at all.

So how many bags would you guys be after? As the cheaper source has a min if 5000 bags, and that's a lot for me to keep on hand, the other supplier I got will do smaller orders but their price will push the bags up around $1WA without the o2 absorber which would have to come from another source

These are for 1 gallon size 26x36cm, but if enough of you want larger, then I can change to the order to what the majority want

Hi Joey. Did you end up ordering any Mylar bags? Fiona

No, not yet, been tied up with a lot of other things of late. One of the supplier still wants a min of 2,000 bags and 5,000 O2 absorbers. Were we still interested in the 1 gallon bags, or would we all prefer the 5 gallon bags?

I think I would prefer to pack things into the smaller size bags, but if everyone else prefers larger I would get some to try them. Did you get anywhere near meeting minimums? Those are big minimums.
If they ended up being about $1 each I would get about 80 - need to keep it under $100 including shipping. So I'm not a huge help with those numbers.
And I'm not in a huge rush.

Hi everyone, Sorry for butting in. Have you tried dhgate.com For Mylar bags. You can find them there as well for as little as 0.02c each.
Kind regards 😊 cookie

Anyone have a current good source of Mylar bags and oxygen absorbers?
I want a size that I can fill to fit either 2 or 4 per 20 lt bucket.
