I am not sure if many of you have heard of the card games conflicted, I cant remember if I have discussed it before on this site. I have one of the first sets that came out. Basically playing cards that ask scenario question that are moral dilemmas and survival choices. It is good to go through the questions as a group and gets peoples outlook on a situation. Something like the monthly scenario challenge. Many prepper groups use them on monthly or weekly meetings etc.. The company that produces the cards which are also available electronically are now in process of developing a board game. They came up with a cool vid and have got 75% funded in 3 days. I might look into getting the board game.

We used to run comps based on some of the questions.

Most of the questions I've seen are too damn hard, I can't imagine having to make them for real.
However in the above scenario, as they don't appear to be looting I would quietly disappear out the back door, hopefully to an overwatch position, and return when they had gone.

We used to run comps based on some of the questions. I tried to use the search function to find any posting on 'Conflicted' I obviously did not try hard enough or operator error - but could not find any so did the post anyway. The board game is something new.

Seems like an excellent way to spend time arguing with your friends ... if you happen to enjoy that kind of thing. Which some do.

Sounds great! I love anything that challenges me to think morally.
I'll look this up, thanks for the post.

I remember watching a video by southernprepper1 (from memory, not 100% sure it was him) and he had a view of the game I really liked.
He said it would be an excellent game to play with new friends/potential new members to a group. It would quickly give you an insight into the way they think and their moral guidelines. The game gives you a much more natural framework to discuss these issues and people don't feel like they're being interviewed so you get a much more natural side of them.
I imagine it would also be a less formal way to raise these situations with family to stimulate discussion. I think the game could very useful for this and I'll be keeping an eye on the project for sure.
