Well today I had a bit of an EDC win....
My motorbike battery shat itself when I was about 5 min from work filling up with fuel and needed a jump start, its a suzuki SV1000S so being a V twin a push start was well out out of the question! I needed a jump start and luckily in my bike EDC was an allen key multi tool and swiss army knife to get the panels and seat off to get access to the battery, a quick jump start later and I was on my way to work, I was then able to get the work ute to pick up a battery and all was good!
The operator at the servo was quite suprised at the allen key set and knife I had in my bag saying that nearly everyone who had broken down or had a mechanical issue at the servo had to be towed. I was quite happy to not be another statistic of the NRMA today!!

I had a jump starter pack in my cruiser (1900A super cheap one) that I had hard wired an inverter to, that was tie down strapped behind the center console. Unfortunately some asshole decided he wanted it and smashed a window and took it. I've to another one now but it never stays in the car overnight. Pissed me off more than the smashed window losing that haha! It was awesome for camping and got me out of trouble at canobolas SF when the cruiser battery died.
I had not even thought about trying to push start it, stupidly I assumed it would be too hard!! I'm 6'3 and a fairly solid 100kg so the capability is definitely there haha.
The servo operator had these pissy little 8 gauge mini jumper cables, pieces of shit couldn't even pass enough current to crank the bike!! They eventually let me use some of the ones they sell and it fired up easy as, she put them back in the bag and then on the shelf!

If you get one of those little jump packs I linked then its like carrying a mobile in your bag, i shit you not. You do not even know that it's there.

Have you used it with a completely dead battery or just a discharged good one? They look pretty good though, I'll put it on the list of shit I want haha!

Yep......used it on a Dead one. Rode home which took about 45 minutes and after I parked her up I tried to start it again and there was nothing. Was holding about 4 Volts. LoL
