blueshoes: I was wondering, my EDC is probably just a typical mum-handbag but it's moderately extensive. Should i unpack my EDC - it's a backpack! - and list off what's in it? It's my go-to for being ready for anything but it hasn't got much classic 'prepper' gear

howler: sounds good, ive been wondering what to put in a couple of bags i want to make

SA Hunter: blueshoes-pack what you will need-your needs will be different to mine, and most other preppers-and, yes, would be curious what you carry.

Hi. Many of you know Overlord (Peter Timbol), one of our earliest members here from the Philippines. I was just told today that he has passed away. I will post more when I have more information. Our condolences to his daughter, family and friends from the Ausprep family.
Indeed. Having a few fundamental preparations in place in event of serious debilitation and/or death should be high on everyones list.
I'm dealing with a bloke who is in serious financial/mental crisis with his farm because he and his old man never prepared their business finances for an event where the old man had a stroke - he finally had one at age 94. It's not like it wasn't likely or they were rushed for time! He really wishes they had done something now because they have a lot of money sitting in investment accounts and livestock that need hay and grain bought in to keep them going through a lack of paddock feed ... but the banks have rules they have to follow so he can't get the money out of the business accounts to buy the feed.
