Hi. Many of you know Overlord (Peter Timbol), one of our earliest members here from the Philippines. I was just told today that he has passed away. I will post more when I have more information. Our condolences to his daughter, family and friends from the Ausprep family.

Have not been here long to know this individual, but do know the sting of loosing the knowledge and wit of fellow posters on another forum that has come and gone.
Condolences..

Bugger, I remember him, we exchanged PMs several times. Just goes to show that tomorrow is never guaranteed.

Indeed. Having a few fundamental preparations in place in event of serious debilitation and/or death should be high on everyones list.
I'm dealing with a bloke who is in serious financial/mental crisis with his farm because he and his old man never prepared their business finances for an event where the old man had a stroke - he finally had one at age 94. It's not like it wasn't likely or they were rushed for time! He really wishes they had done something now because they have a lot of money sitting in investment accounts and livestock that need hay and grain bought in to keep them going through a lack of paddock feed ... but the banks have rules they have to follow so he can't get the money out of the business accounts to buy the feed.
