I hope that guy doesn’t consider himself a prepper. Using a grinder without safety glasses isn’t prepping (his little spectacles were worn very low and effectively useless whilst he was using that grinder). prepping is less about machetes and hatchets and gas masks and more about not making stupid decisions. I'm pretty sure I saw him using safety squints.

I'll join you on the journey, I'm 6ft and 129.7kg. Yes all around the middle frostbite. I've been feeling the same way, have my preps reasonably sorted, but I wouldn't run from a fight, because they'll catch me within 50m then I'd be too nackered to fight. Plus I have an almost 2yr old boy, and another on the way, I definitely want to be able to keep up with them.

Few weeks ago, 100mm pvc pipe was unavailable for almost two weeks. Unable to get the resin required for the manufacturing.

Yeah, that's how I was taught and still do it. Sometimes you can manage to undo the filter by hand, depending on room to get your arm in and grip strength.

If someone is standing less than 1.5 metres from you when they cough, that’s called a near cough. You need to tell them to far cough I often tell people in my office to far cough, even when they're not coughing They can go stand in the far queue and far cough.

Drugs is a big one. What happens when all the local supplies dry up and the junkies can’t get their fix? Almost like a total forced rehab. It could be a good thing in the long run? We have a good supply of food at the IGA. There was some TP! I’m working from home and all the normal BS is absent from my job. I really feel for those less fortunate but i’m having a much better time of my work. The missus is getting a job out of this, i feel conflicted but we spent so many hard years in remote areas to make this happen i can’t stop smiling. I intend to help others if need be, gotta share the love. Drug traffickers are far more innovative and enterprising than our elected leaders, sure they will find a way.... We have only closed boarders for people, not goods.... Maybe acid laced TP and face mask?? It would make the next couple of hours after wiping interesting🤪

My club in wa has closed until the end of may, they have said all pistol shoot requirements are covered for this period. We'll wait and see.

Graphite power might to the trick. But generally with boots, I find the rest of the boot wears out before the zips do. I just find if my boots even remotely see sand they jam up, not good when your digging trenches.

Talking about zips, zips on work boots. Just wondering if I use a wet lubricant, will the sand get stuck in it more.

Does anyone have a hawke brand of scope, or know if they are alright? Looking around for scopes to go on a .22.
Hawke have one for .22, zero in at 50m and the reticle has markings for different distances, up to 200m.

Well, scratch "bought a generator" off that list. Add "bought a piece of shyte". First actual power outage. Thing conked out mostly within 10 seconds, and when it did run, died the instant a load was put on it. Am taking it back for a refund tomorrow. What brand, out of curiosity?

I know it's hard for some, but i would be happy to fling a few dollars towards running costs.
