Argh! Halp!
I've been infested with those dreaded pantry moths. I forgot I had left chia seeds & oats in ziplock bags at the top of my pantry while I was waiting for more storage jars to come. I found moths in the cupboard, and moths and one of the larval cocoon things in the chia seeds. I've picked out what I see, and I've put the oats and chia seeds in jars in the freezer because hubby said that should kill anything off.
So, what can I do to get rid of the moths in the cupboard (just in case it wasn't ONLY the chia & oats they were eating), and what else can I do to kill them off if I find them in any other food?

The freezer is always my go to plan. Usually 48 plus hours but not sure if that is the perfect but seems to keep bugs dead.

Also I think the bugs are already in the product so will grow whatever container you use unless they are deaded first

Personally I would compost it and start over. One bad apple spoils the bunch kind of thing. I have never had an issue with moths, must be the locality.
