Aussie bees are good for in the suburbs and for producing honey on a limited scale for family use, as they do not produce as much honey as honey bees, but you can have 2-3 hives to make up for not having to harvest monthly as with honey bees

I'm now tempted not to rip all the bottle brush trees out of my garden to put veggies in and maybe save 1 or 2 and put 2 of these boxes in

Interesting, I have at least one native bee hive on my property.

We have noticed at least three breeds of bee on our property. Plus our next door neighbour is a professional bee keeper, so out honey is covered.
