Looks like a great place, and it is in God's country (QLD in case anybody is wondering where that is ), but from what I've seen the southern property looks better. I've started making a series of tracks around my place as well, it's a MUCH smaller parcel of land but all steep gorges so I reckon I can get 4-5k of walking tracks (note the mileage I get from that small area with the switchbacks). I plan to make shelters so we can sit out there in the rain, bridges, and maybe even an exercise/obstacle course. We'll see how keen I get.

Looks like a good spot frostbite, plenty of space up that way. Nice work!

I'm jealous of your skills. In reality many of my skills are simple. However the opportunity of putting them into practice is not something most want to do, nor are they everyones cup of tea! Happy to share knowledge and teach skills. AAA

Not nearly as much space. I have mine loaded so there's barely a millimetre between pieces. It's just important that they're not touching.

Space does allow for faster drying. I've tested both. I tend to give as much space as I can (within reason) and use all trays but if I have made a load of blanched beans etc I just load it up, just takes longer The air circulating around the pieces dries them faster is all, but that is a heck of a lot of space you've got going on there ! Love the fort frostbite, simple but inspiration for me and Mr Prep

Well enjoy it, because there won't be any more. Contracts should be exchanged next week. There's always more , I had a deer hunt this weekend near Tenterfield and another coming in July on my BD
