Happened upon cans of Hajdu - The Great Hungarian Cheese at a corner market in the West End (Brisbane, QLD). At $4.95 a can I decided it was worth a try. Better yet, when I got to the counter I learned that it was on sale for $2. Cracked a can this afternoon and am a bit puzzled by the taste. It is processed, but is dry and a little crumbly. The best way I can describe it would be feta-like... Anyone else ever come across this? Is this in your stockpile? At $2 a can I'm tempted to buy it all, but I'm not 100% sure if it is supposed to look and taste this way. My wife and I have very different palates...she didn't taste feta. Where it is processed- meaning it will melt - I decided to try it as a cheese sauce. Quick butter roux, can of Hajdu, cream, milk, salt and pepper. Tastes pretty good. My wife had it over broccoli... Will pick up a couple cans

@$2/can it is a good deal, but have decided to spend the extra $'s importing Velveeta...Soooo much better!
