'Tastes like 2yo peanut butter'. I'm fascinated by this kind of thing, some great anecdotal information. I would have thought the oils would have been rancid, though again [see German Storage of 10yo oil] it might be that sealed containers only oxidize [rancid] a certain amount of the oils and it's only opening that causes a greater exchange of oxygen. I'd love to be able to store peanut butter, it's cheap and full of fats. Nuts certainly go rancid [at least in the back of a hot car in my BOB] and I've heard of peanut butter before being used, though I've been skeptical.

His channel's great, he's so enthusiastic about eating this old 'crud' and frankly it strikes me that he would happily confess issues. He does explain what he wouldn't eat, and when things are just too inedible. Much entertainment, and in our hobby-lifestyle, education.
