or those of you who have read the latest going home book, Home Invasion. In it is mentioned the antenna array that is used to receive the weather radar images from the NOAA weather sattalites. This instructable walkthrough was referenced by A. American as to where he got the idea to put it in the book. I plan to make it myself in the very near future and give it a go. No doubt the missus will and moan about that "useless thing outside that was a waste if time and money" One of the NOAA satellites covers Australia, at least the eastern half looking at a few images on Goole. www.instructables.com/id/NOAA-Satellite-Signals-with-a-PVC-QFH-Antenna-and-/
