As an Apathetic Agnostic I don't know and don't care , believe what you like just don't tell others you know some divine truth that thay don't. Second please show proof of this divine knowledge you have ? Ho that's right you can't.

I really like that term Steampunk Apathetic Agnostic. I dont believe any one knows some divine truth that others don't, my point is that this is exactly what people like Dawkins and atheists do all the time to people of faith. Their faith is science the belief in man and his knowledge. I just believe in something greater than myself because I dont know all the questions to the meaning of Life the Universe and everything because apparently the answer is 42!! Token was just offering his view on how to approach the subject that was posted about. I just see the same evidence we all have and have determined a different answer to that evidence.

Not sure if you have watched any of the series Bear Grylls Island. 14 guys are dropped of on a pacific island with no skills just PC geeks and every day guys. One or two of them were very lazy cry babies and in the end the other team members got them working and contributing it can be done. There have been a number of series, I only ever watched the first and half of the second - but what it taught me is that good leadership is the most important skill - forget about the survival skills. The Island with Bear Grylls S01E01 Pilot Amen to that! And a good leader needs a sound working knowledge of psychology and non-verbal communication. With respect to the bloke in the scenario ... The way he lives now is the sum total of his preferences. Ask him what he likes most about his life. Ask him what he values. Ask him whats the worst thing that's ever happened to him (watch his body language to see how he responds to these questions. Change comes from within; so somehow he needs to find a way to understand what he's doing and why and how it effects others. Maybe he's got a history that he can't let go of. At any rate ... it's got to be his project, he's got to own it or nothing anyone else can say or do will make any difference.

I saw that episode and wonder if they were just lazy or really overwhelmed by it all. We have a lazy culture and lifestyle - need a machine to do all our work. Play electronic games all day long, and buy takeaways. So it is both a challenge physically and a work ethic reset. Yes very overwhelming, living in those conditions even for trained person is a challenge.
