strop2: The numbers in Vietnam are still around 20 for the virus but most other gov'ts are hiding numbers due to tourism, and exporting. I expect cover ups to stop shortly and we will see how bad it is.

strop2: I just contacted HCMC - trying to get an exemption not to travel (airports and Planes are a cesspool of germs) and was told that people are now buying out food items at Supermarkets. These are all the nightmares coming true, I go shopping later today....

strop2: More local news - Vinh Phuc has 9 virus cases, 54 suspected and another 249 being watched and have set up a 300 bed field hospital. Vietnam is always very quick to act in a crisis.

strop2: I saw Australian news today that a diplomatic Peter Dutton ref China and still denying Chinese Students to enter Australia - a great response from Australia to contain the virus even with the number of Chinese visitors who had already entered.

strop2: Life goes on, I have harvested my latest rice crop 1,300kg 4 days ago (2,200sqm rice land), have lots of fruit trees at various stages of growth (4,000sqm of x rice land), 6 x boxes of noodles, water treatment filter, extra fuel for generator and 4 geese.

strop2: I can upgrade security at my Mekong House at anytime but currently Vietnam has had a great response to the virus. As long as people do the right thing and don't bypass the systems in place.

Joey: A couple of UNI's in Aust are so desperate to get their cashed up Chinese students back on campus that they are offering to pay them $1400 cash for them to travel to a third country for the 14 days before being allowed into Aust
