Ps: can ladies shave under their arms with a cutthroat razor, or do they need one of those disposables? After all, number 1 lesson in survival is to keep your wife happy. Nobody can spoil your day as well as they can. Have to do it for them I expect. If it's that much of a need.

In recent weeks I've touched base with a wide4 circle of people in order to mske them conscious of risks they face. They just nod and say oh yeah but few of them have taken any action to prepare themselves. ... you can lead a horse to water but you cant make it drink. I like these people but their actions are disappointing. When SHTF they will be the welfare cases and I dont think there is a positive catchy saying about survival of the welfare cases. I just had an interesting discussion with one of our bosses. She's hasn't got back to our city yet (still slacking at home with her parents after the new year break). She was ing and moaning that she had to cancel her upcoming trip to Thailand because the office in our city hasn't issued her new passport. Apparently the fact that the whole city is in lockdown, with only essential service workers allowed out of their homes, and everyone having to spend hours every day strategising about how to get food has somehow failed to catch her attention. Not to mention that all flights in and out of China have pretty much been cancelled anyway. I kinda wish she would come back to the city now so she can see that trips to Thailand are furthest from many people's thoughts. Then again, then we would probably have to put up with her moaning about not getting food as well as not being able to go on vacation.

Was she holding a carving knife when she asked? The only reason some women cook is so they have an excuse to have their fingerprints on a knife...
Am looking at the situation here.
Fires have damaged Oz.
Floods are damaging the next crops, so fresh veges in some areas may be in short supply (as well as how much they are being sold to the Chinese who refuse to eat the sh!t they grow there). Find something you will use anyway (milk powder, jam) with a long shelf life and stock up now. What harm can it do to spend next month's grocery bill now, if it does all blow over?

While Sheeple News is focussed on Corona and who is rooting who on MAFS, Turkey is using manpads against Russian aircraft in Syria, and Russia is responding by killing dozens of Turkish soldiers in airstrikes. Two of the world's biggest hard asses shaping up for a major punchup?

My monies on Vlad!
Maybe he'll conquer Turkey, re instate the Byzantine Empire, rename the capital Constantinople, create a free state for the Kurds, and bring an end to Erdogan's puffed up arrogance.

Most of the high rank google search results look a bit us-propaganda-ish or mindless repeats of those sources. TASS, the Russian news agency says 'fake news'. (also scroll down to detailed articles below that headline for full story) But then they have their own agenda too so who really knows? tass.com/defense/1123229

Not only that, but Turkey has followed through on their threat to let loose thousands of Syrian refugees on the EU. Greek border authorities have been fighting them back, only to have the Turks then fire tear gas at their backs, so they keep advancing into Greece.
