It seems just about every year march is the month where things go awry and get weird. Last year it was Brenton Tarrant, this year Pandemic. There is a lot more recorded history on major events in march, well worth a google.

For us here in the far north... The Ides of March was greeted with bright sun, little wind as has been the norm of late.. But -20C at noon local time.. About half an hour ago the temp peaked at -8C and is dropping now.
The 10 day forecast is showing below 0C temps until the very end of the forecast..
On CBC today.. In places on east Canada, Ottawa, and the like they are saying in the same sentence for people to stay home.. But for everyone to donate, "tithe" at least 10% of supplies you have for those who can't find products in stores....
You can just about guess what I think of this frickin, hair brain idea...
