I wont even buy chinese security cameras, never mind Chinese apps on my phone where so much personal data ecists . I hate to think how people today who use tik tok will be compromised in the future if they become someone of interest/value to the CCP when the CCP has so much data on them.

Same can be said of google and facebook stealing every bodies data Not even remotely close to the way tik tok collects unrelated data, encrypts it and sends it to China. You can also disable a lot of permissions/functions in google & fb ... having said that yes they are still shitty apps in many privacy respects |

That China/Huawei video someone posted a link to. Imagine if you were someone who could influence the outcome and were a user of one of those 59 apps sending your private data to the CCP ... you wouldnt want to have any compromising pics/texts/material on your phone, you'd be a blackmail target for sure
