Considering changing to circuit breakers from Maxi blade fuses (grudgingly dragged helter-skelter into the technological age! ) Most breakers seem to be auto reset, personally I would prefer manual reset. If a fuse is blowing or a breaker is resetting I want to know about it. I have had no problems with the Maxi fuses blowing. What are the good and bad points of either. The operating temps for the breakers are up to 65C. Anyone use them in the engine bay? Do they last? Also the little blade fuse circuit breakers. Does anyone use them? Are they any good? It would save a few fuses when I am wiring (many 'oops' moments). Do they last well if used long term in vehicles?

Don't like the idea of an auto-resetting CB at all.
The blade fuses in cars are pretty common and seem to work well. Very cheap and reliable.
