The masses are saying Happy New Year and considering that nothing could be as bad as 2020. I don't like to be a pessimist but I am most definitely a realist and am mindful that 2021 could indeed bring greater challenges than 2020.
With that in mind ...
2021 bring what you may, to all you preppers out there ... Make your own luck: remain vigilant, stay prepared, adapt and improvise.

100% agree! It's like people think that the clock struck midnight and covid should magically disappear. If nothing else, I'm grateful that the last year has opened the eyes of a lot of people. It's somewhat disheartening to see people from the prepping community that are stuck in the smugness cycle. We knew it was coming, so sucked in everyone that didn't. I'm not like that. I reckon the more people that are prepared, the better it is for me and mine because they're less likely to need our supplies!

HAPPY NEW YEAR.... to all on the other side of the date line... It is only about 21;00 hours Pacific time..
No excitement here.. Snacked our way through dinner tonight, do some reading, a bowl of chips and salsa, a ginger ale and cup of tea.. Will need to let the dog out at about 22;00 hours then retire for the night..
The province decided to close all the liquor stores at 20;30 hours today.. That to discourage large gatherings.. You should have seen the lines.. A bit ago CBC giving a list of all the big wig federal and provincial officials who have flown back into the country from there fabulous island holiday vacations... With no consequences of course... If I were to visit another province, depending which one, I could land 2 weeks in jail isolation... The do as I say, not as I do crowd...
Don't get me started...
With 2020 as a test run... I'm predicting 2021 will be a challenge... Not insurmountable, tough, but it can be endured..
Adapt, improvise, prevail... Bring it on..

Quite happy with most things from 2020. Gotta look at the positives. On the whole it was a good year. Hopefully 2021 will be similar.
