Instead of spamming chat and creating multiple threads, i figure just one and i can post my videos here.
It will only be videos useful to prepping and a likes. You wont see videos of generic item reviews. Though there are some on the channel.
I don't make money from it, i pay for everything, unless otherwise stated.

Do they do the stock to suit regular howa's rather than the minis?

Do they do the stock to suit regular howa's rather than the minis? Its abit disappointing, but no. I wish it did, then the 223 i have would get one too (has that horrable boyd at one). I assume mine is a short action since the bolt is significantly larger (too lazy to measure).

As my Howas are heavy barrels I was looking at options for new stock besides the uber heavy MDT LSS series

Had the MDT oryx, it is bloody heavy. That was on a Howa 300WM. The Howa 223 uses a upgraded/modded boyd at one. As i said, i do not recommend the boyd at one, unless they have actually updated it, which is unlikely. The TSP X looks like it may be on the same level as the Excl Lite looking at images, but no idea as ive never physically seen or touched it. Might be worth abit of a look into maybe?
Edit: Nevermind, just looked at specs and its machined alloy. 1.8KG.
Edit edit: Just pulled them both out, action is considerably fatter than the mini, not enough meat in the Excl Lite to machine it out to house it. Thats comparing to my 223 short action.

So, on a few other forums/groups/pages there has been alot of talk about generators. Same of you may have seen my old video on the drill start up, but i go into a little more depth.

Do you have a changeover switch in the circuit breakers for switching from mains to the generator so when mains does come back on it doesn't backflow into the generator frying it? or is that the RCD's you pointed out?

Ive just noticed my reply didnt post. Sorry about the delay. No automatic change over. Everything is manual. So when power cuts i need to walkout the box, flick it over, then boot up the genie. In saying that, i wont know when the power is back on. However because its on a separate circuit, i can flick between the 2. During the night, no issue since ill see the street light on at the end of the street come back on.

Did you run your cabling through the snorkel?

Did you run your cabling through the snorkel? Sure did, thick piece of wiring. 4 spotlights, 2 antennas, one antenna mount and a flood light array. Each light had dedicated power, which meant that the wiring had to be suited for the voltage, amperage and the distance. Yay. The 8 flood lights under the basket were on a remote too, so i can switch them on and off at a distance. Good camp security.
Will be building similar for the new 4x4, but better designed. I forgot the importance of plugs when doing that one, made removing the basket and putting it back on such a drama.

Have a bug full of them now. But itll depend on whats on the roof of the new car and what power it requires. Gotta finish building the driveline before i look at that gear.

I have some smith and wesson cuffs sitting on the cabinet, first night i brought them home, i put them on her and then told her that i didnt have a key. After the yelling stopped, had to pick the lock, which is pretty bloody simple with those style of keys. Always handy to have a leatherman.
