"Wont matter who is elected in America"
Yup. It's the unelected people in government institutions who control things. Government does have some impact, but it's pretty minor in comparison. The UK is a great example of this. A decade of 'Conservative' rule has seen the country still lurch to the left.

Its coming, after Trump gets in, expect the purges to start. I don't think hes a vindictive man, but don't get on his wrong side.
Saw a good explanation of what would happen if he was went to jail.
The secret service are sworn to protect ex presidents, and his lawyers will argue that they cant do that in a jail, so they will need to find somewhere suitable at taxpayers expense. try that can of worms !
Don't follow me, I do stupid things.

More scary stuff happening now South America.. Lots of news feed coming in of another conflict about to 'explode.' More imigrants going to the US, the riots in Dublin will spill over into the US. Major New Conflict May Be Brewing on America's Doorstepwww.newsweek.com/guyana-venezuela-maduro-invasion-us-essequibo-1848408Venezuela might mount a military move into Guyana as Caracas faces accusations that it is attempting an aggressive land grab in its resource-rich neighbor, it has been reported. Brazilian intelligence has warned that the Venezuelan army is going to invade Guyana in the coming days, Defence Blog.org reported, raising concerns about regional stability and territorial disputes in South America.

Yesterday pm, walking down to lock away the chooks and there was a red bellied black on the path. Dispatched that but then a yell from the girls at their chock house that there was a snake in it. Went up to find my sister poking at a carpet snake with a rake, and he was cross, so cross in fact he bit me as I tried to grab it to relocate him.
Let the wound bleed for a good time, then a good clean out with all the solutions as a pythons mouth isn't the cleanest of environments.
All OK this morning, top of my hand is a bit swollen, but apart from that all good.
Tip trip this morning, then more mowing and garden work. Amazing what a little rain does !
I just want you know, oh great and powerful Ceaser (The Government), that my God can save us from the pestilence (Covid, monkey pox and whatever they dream up next to kill the 90 %), but even if he doesn't, I just want you to know that as for me and my family, we will not bow down to you and worship you. (Even if you restrict our movements, access to services etc because we are not jabbed).

You could give socialists all the oil on earth. They'd still squander it and end up bankrupt. Again.

Checking the weapons yesterday and found a trace of rust on the tip of the barrel of the puma, where the sound attenuator screws onto. So pulled all the weapons out an re-oiled them all. Very satisfying afternoon.
Maintenance is so important to keep things safe.
WW3, The country won’t be ready, but you can be.

The worlds economy is a slow motion train wreck, time to double up on preps.
Just planted the spuds and carrots. Greased the cultivator and checked on the fuel supplies.
Bought some more gun lube yesterday.
My people skills are just fine, its my tolerance to idiots that needs work.

The CCP economy has had massive issues since 1948. They got away with it through intellectual property theft and by having the bulk of their population as working age males. This is no longer the case. The next growth from an economy like the CCP's would be to modernise their rural areas and to transit their manufacturing industry from cheap copies to true innovation. They can't modernise rural areas because they are relying on the poverty out there to feed the country and they can't transit their manufacturing industry because IP theft is so rampant that nobody wants to spend time and money innovating. That bulk of working age males is now getting close to retirement too, so no joy there either. The CCP would have act on these things in the 1990s to avoid a decline in the 2020s-2030s. They didn't. Even the obvious garbage fire of continuing the one child policy long after birthrates had already fallen wasn't dealt with until a decade too late. They've dug their own grave and pissed off all their neighbours and trading partners in the process. They are acting like a declining empire right now.

Too right Vegemite.....
The CCCP has gone off the boil, and will fail, perhaps in 60 or 80 years, but it will fail. The one child policy was a disaster, I remember reading something about it in the 70's that it was so successful, the population actually stopped growing for a number of years. Fast forward 40 + years and China is finished. India will probably take over, they have lots of young innovators who are not afraid to work, and laws that tend to protect intellectual property and no allow for outright theft of innovation. That's why China is a follower, not innovator. Its easier to steal ideas than think of them yourself, and easier to hack a computer than exercise the brain cell and think of the idea yourself.
Most people think that you only need 1 child per couple for an economy to work, but its closer to 1.3 or 1.4 due to infant mortality and childhood deaths. Even Australia is only at 1.2, down from 1.4 in the late 2,000's. Contrast that to India where its around 2.03 per couple. (2020). Interestingly, North Korea is around 1.82 per couple, so they are OK. (2020).
The CCCP's Belt and Road initiative, designed to steal land and resources, will also falter when the people run out.
All this probably doesn't matter as in a Trillion, trillion, trillion, trillion, trillion, trillion, trillion, trillion, trillion years time, this universe decays to cold nothingness ! And the next universe fires up. See you there !
I'm a multitasker. I can listen, ignore, and forget all at the same time !

Yip it is just headlines to keep perspective on what is going on. In the prepper world it is 9 meals (72h) to chaos. Keep your ear on the ground so one can implement a Bugout Plan. My Bug out plan includes final shopping Fuel, veg seed, dog food) and various other activities. If too late it might be looting which is probably best avoided. Part of prepping is what if scenarios, if we see what is going down in other countries, then is is how would we deal with the same situation in our local communities. I am blaming Stealth ausprep.com/user/767 for this thread.. I will just post headlines with links... Yip it will appear like spam - saves you reading all the garbage new that comes out, you can get all the doom pÕrn news in one place... Yep, I'll cop that one *chortle*. It's great to have a thread where we can see where things are in the world so I appreciate your posts a lot spatial 😉. What we do with the information in is up to each individual. It's good to have a bit of situational awareness. If nothing else it can help to see how others respond to a crisis when it happens so that you can decide if you need to act on your preps in a way that you hadn't anticipated. But any discussion about specific topics can move to relevant threads for further discussion if warranted. Means this thread stays dedicated to the actual info and further chat can be moderated elsewhere. Thanks for the work you've put in adding info in here spatial. Lots of interesting and varying topics that I might have missed otherwise!

A stable population requires a birth rate of 2.1 per couple to replace the parents and accommodate for accidental death. data.oecd.org/pop/fertility-rates.htm#:~:text=It%20is%20calculated%20by%20totalling,ensures%20a%20broadly%20stable%20population. China has other problems like high smoking rate. There are more than 300 million smokers in China, nearly one-third of the world's total. More than half of adult men are current tobacco smokers. About one in every three cigarettes smoked in the world is smoked in China.
