I seen a couple of maps of the 'New Middle East' over the last two weeks and was very disturbed about it. A new Islamic state packed with extremists is not good for anyone, as it matters not what religion or race you are - unless you are one of them with their ideals/beliefs you are at risk.
This needs a united stand from ALL countries and ALL races to have a united force go in and adopt a scorched earth policy on this state of looming evil! ....................................................................................................................... ISIL declares new 'Islamic caliphate'
Rebels fighting in Iraq under ISIL banner announce creation of Islamic state, extending from Diyala to Syria's Aleppo.
Last updated: 29 Jun 2014 17:44
Fighters in Syria and Iraq have announced the establishment of a "caliphate", referring to the system of rule that ended nearly 100 years ago with the fall of the Ottoman empire.
In an audio recording distributed online on Sunday, the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) declared its chief Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi as "the caliph" and "leader for Muslims everywhere".
Baghdadi is believed to be the leader of ISIL, which announced that it is now called "The Islamic State".
(Sorry - map from A-J wouldn't transfer).
According to the statement, the new caliphate stretches from Iraq's Diyala province to Syria's Aleppo.
"The Shura (council) of the Islamic State met and discussed this issue (of the caliphate)... The Islamic State decided to establish an Islamic caliphate and to designate a caliph for the state of the Muslims," said ISIL spokesman Abu Mohammad al-Adnani.
"The words 'Iraq' and 'the Levant' have been removed from the name of the Islamic State in official papers and documents," Adnani said, describing the caliphate as "the dream in all the Muslims' hearts" and "the hope of all jihadists".
Al Jazeera's Imran Khan reporting from the Iraqi capital, Baghdad, said that a caliphate is effectively an Islamic Republic led by one leader, regardless of national boundaries.
With the announcement, the armed group is declaring that they are now legitimate, declaring the caliphate as the "true muslim state", he said.
The announcement might bring up problems with other Sunni fighters in Iraq, who are fighting the central government of Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki, and not fighting for the caliphate, our correspondent said.

"IS there no end to their depraved brutality? The fanatical jihadists waging war across Syria and Iraq have already horrified the world with their mass shootings and the discovery of a “death pit” where they hurl victims’ bodies.
Now they have employed a cruelty many centuries old — crucifixion.
The fiends of ISIS (the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria, also known as ISIL) publicly hung nine men on crosses at the weekend in Syria.
In a reflection of the complex and terrifying forces wreaking havoc across the region, the jihadists’ victims were not soldiers of President Bashar al-Assad’s regime; they were fellow rebels, who are fighting both the goverment and ISIS."
Delightful bunch..............

(Many wont see this as a serious risk, but I do, I know how serious this threat is and can become. Having a home based to launch attacks on other areas from and as a collection point for other misguided people is a serious issue. Even those 'peaceful muslims' need to find their voices in total condemnation of this terrorist regime). Is this a sign of what's to come - 'Adopt our views and beliefs or be enemies and die!!!!' If free elected gov'ts choose sanctions then it has to be 100% followed by all countries and no a single thing should cross the border(not even one grain of rice) of this area of this so-called state (except a nuke or two delivered from the air). All humanitarian organisations (and do - gooders) need to stay away and turn their backs on them. Stomp on this now before it gets too far out of control or else we will all pay for our politically correct way of doing things. ............................................................................................. www.islamtimes.org/vdcgzw9wyak9yw4.5jra.html Thursday 19 June 2014 09:59 ISIL sickening doctrine and murderous paradigm Islam Times - ISIL terrorists taking-over parts of Iraq make no bones about broadcasting their reign of terror. ISIL sickening doctrine and murderous paradigm Fresh footage from the ISIL-occupied territories shows Iraqi soldiers being taunted and executed by exuberant militants. Videos were published on one of the extremist websites which appear to show the same event. A group of five Iraqi soldiers, their hands bound behind their back, are shown sitting on the ground. The militants mock and taunt them, calling them “enemies of God” who will be killed. The soldiers are forced to chant the slogan of the so-called Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL), the terrorist group that is leading a shock offensive in Iraq since last week. A separate video shows one of the prisoners lying on the ground with a gun wound to his head, apparently executed by the militants. ISIL previously released photos of mass executions of Iraqi soldiers and security troops. There are also reports of hundreds of civilians being rounded up and executed by the militants.

ISIS/ISIL declares Islamic State, shortens name to “The Islamic State” (IS)
By Robert Spencer on Jun 29, 2014 at 2:28pm
Islamic State of Iraq and Syria They clearly intend to hold the territory they have captured. They’ve also declared Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi the new caliph; he claims to be a descendant of Muhammad, so it is possible that if they can make their state viable, this claim will gain currency. If that happens, it will be interesting to see how Muslims in the West react to the idea that he is the “leader for Muslims everywhere,” which historically was always a claim of the caliph. “ISIS declares creation of Islamic state in Middle East, shortens name to ‘IS,’” RT, June 29, 2014:
ISIS jihadists have declared the captured territories from Iraq’s Diyala province to Syria’s Aleppo a new Islamic State – a ‘caliphate.’ They removed ‘Iraq and the Levant’ from their name and urged other radical Sunni groups to pledge their allegiance. ISIS announced that it should now be called ‘The Islamic State’ and declared its chief, Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, as “the caliph” of the new state and “leader for Muslims everywhere,” the radical Sunni militant group said in an audio recording distributed online on Sunday. This is the first time since the fall of the Ottoman Empire in 1923 that a Caliph – which means a political successor to Prophet Muhammad – has been declared. The decision was made following the group’s Shura Council meeting on Sunday, according to ISIS spokesman Abu Mohammed al-Adnani. The new Islamic State has marked its borders, spanning the territory captured by the group in a bloody rampage, from Iraq’s volatile Diyala province to Syria’s war-torn Aleppo.

UN gravely concerned over Iraq crisis
As new "caliphate" declared in Diyala, UN voices concern over rights violations such as beheadings and abductions.
Last updated: 30 Jun 2014 14:44
The deepening crisis in Iraq with over one million fleeing their homes and the rising number of civilian deaths has provoked grave concern within the United Nations.
In a statement released on Monday UN Secretary General Ban Ki Moon said he was "deeply troubled by persistent reports of violations of human rights and international humanitarian law taking place in Iraq."
Violations have included summary executions of captured soldiers and detainees, indiscriminate shelling of civilian areas, and the abduction and murder of members of ethnic and religious communities.
The fighters have allegedly posted more than a dozen videos showing beheadings and shootings of combat soldiers and police officers, as well as apparent targeting of people based on their religion or ethnicity, including Shia and minority groups such as Turcomans, Shabak, Christians, and Yezidis.
In a recently released report, the UN Assistance Mission in the country and the UN Human Rights Office (OHCHR) cited alleged abuses by both the Iraqi Security Forces and the armed group Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL).
New "caliphate"
The statement comes as the group Sunni armed group, ISIL, now named the Islamic State, announced the establishment of a "caliphate" straddling Syria and Iraq, urging other groups to pledge allegiance.
In an audio recording released on Sunday, the group formerly known as the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant declared its chief, Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, "the caliph" and "leader for Muslims everywhere".
An official document was also released, in English and several other languages describing Baghdadi as "the sheikh, the fighter, the scholar who practices what he preaches, the worshipper, the leader, the warrior, the reviver, descendant from the family of the Prophet, the slave of God".
The document urged Musls to "gather around your caliph, so that you may return as you once were for ages, kings of the earth and knights of war."
Al Jazeera's Imran Khan, reporting from Baghdad, said that a caliphate was effectively an Islamic republic led by one leader, regardless of national boundaries.
He added however that Sunni groups which have fought with the Islamic State group in Iraq have yet to pledge allegiance.
With continued violence at least 1,300 people were killed in Iraq, and another 1,250 injured since 5 June in fighting in Nineveh, Salah al-Din and Diyala alone, according to UNAMI and OHCHR. At least 900 of the people killed were civilians.
In addition, an estimated 1.2m Iraqis have been displaced by fighting, including from Anbar and Ninewa governorates, according to the UN Refugee Agency.

I wonder what all the other Muslims think about that. The only bright side is that all these dickheads hate each other as well, even as much as they hate the west. Despite me almost signing up during the Vietnam conflict (did the medical and whatever) I've never been a fan of fighting for Oz while the enemy is overseas, rather preferring to wait until the bad guys are an obvious and imminent threat to our shores. (Yes I know that's not a great tactical approach , best to stop them as far away as possible), but these arseholes need swatting, what a shame the west shot it's bolt in Iraq because of mythical WMDs when there is a real threat now and I doubt any country has the will or the money to do it again. Yep, deprive this organism of oxygen from day one. There is no room for being PC here, the West's wimpish "Don't offend anyone" approach makes me puke, ok I don't intentionally offend people if they are living-and-let-living, but I'm sick of it being a one-way street.

More in the news today......
www.news.com.au/world/jihadist-group-isis-has-declared-a-new-caliphate-spanning-the-middle-east-what-is-it-and-what-does-it-mean/story-fndir2ev-1226974870651
"A SELF-declared ‘caliph’ wants to impose his own personal ‘kingdom of heaven’ on the world. Can he do it, and what is a ‘caliphate’ anyway? Caliphate.
It’s ominous: It’s a word which evokes images of a medieval world of swords, harems and tyrannical power.
It’s mystic: It’s a word which implies religious rule, secret rites and powerful prophets.
It’s a word being turned into a world in Iraq and Syria.
It’s a ‘kingdom of heaven’ where you can’t smoke, drink or be laid to rest in a grave. But you have to smile.
It’s this world believers hope to impose upon the world’s 1.5 billion Muslims — as well as much of the Middle East, Europe and Africa."

frank, I don't think it will be limited just to the Muslims but I would assume, would encompass the world and all other people. Is this the Anti-Christ that was spoken of in the Bible and prophesied by Nostradamus? There have been a lot that were attributed as the One but all of these have not come to fruition. There is the "Man with the Blue Turban" as spoken of by Nostradamus. Some accredit this to Obama, some to any terrorist leader of the Middle East. Maybe check the following Quartiles: II 29 A man from the East will come out of his seat and will cross the Apennines to see France. He will cross through the sky, the seas, and snows, and will strike everyone with his rod. X 73 The previous time together with the past will be judged by the great man of Jupiter. Too late will the world be tired of him, and disloyal, through the oath-taking clergy. X 74 The year of the great seventh number accomplished, It will appear at the time of the games of slaughter, Not far from the age of the great millenium, When the dead will come out of their graves. X 75 Long awaited he will never return in Europe. He will appear in Asia; One of the league issued from great Hermes, He will grow above all other powers in the Orient. From Wikipedia about Baghdadi: "After the US invasion of Iraq in 2003, al-Baghdadi reportedly led several smaller militant groups before being promoted to a seat on the Majlis al-Shura of the mujahideen and the judicial council of the Islamic State of Iraq." Did Baghdadi go to France after? Is Obama the Great Man from Jupiter: (I know, the link may not be that reliable a source) www.prophet666.com/2012/11/will-barack-obama-start-world-war-3.htmlDidn't we just pass the Great Millenium since the 11th to 20th Centuries were the times of Man's rise in the modern era? Hermes was the Great Negotiator. Unfortunately, not much is known of Baghdadi but he doesn't seem to be a negotiator ATM if he is meant to be "one of the league" Am just tossing some ideas here. My concern here is that he has achieved, in so short a time, more than what others have taken years to achieve.

This could be the empire that the bible predicted would be formed in the middle east just before Christ returns. There are verses in the bible that say "he will come up and become strong with a small number of people" that he will uproot three nations and that he will do this easily. It also says that he will receive his power to do this from the devil. There are only two people in the bible called the "Son of Perdition" one being Judas Iscariot who betrayed Jesus and the other is this particular antichrist type character. Satan entered Judas and will do the same with this person who will be given demonic power to achieve what is planned. This empire will encompass Syria, Iraq and part of Iran, which is exactly what ISIS is trying to do. There is also the prophecy that Damascus shall become a ruinous heap so we live in interesting times. Nostradamus also predicted someone rising in the middle east.

The Golden Temple (3rd Temple) and its destruction as prophesied in Ezekiel 37 is the turning point. Should this happen during the time of ISIS, then we do have the signs in place. Am not trying to inject religion into this but simply stating that there are prophecies that have come to light and have happened (whether it is from the Bible, Nostradamus, St. Malachi, etc.). By cross referencing these and the current times, these are too coincidental. In Revelation 17:3, there is the 10-horned Scarlet Beast (Russia is always associated with the color red) and the second beast is a Dragon (China) from which the first draws strength from. Russia is small, China has the Military might. And we do see a Russia-China Alliance. Could Baghdadi be supported by the first beast? China isn't exactly supportive of Muslims but Russia has been known to support Islamic groups that are against the West. Just my opinion.

(IMO - this has been brewing for over 2,000 years since the birth of Christianity).

Middle East Islamic State 'seizes main Syria oil fields' (Just goes from bad to worse!!!) From Al-Jazzeerra. Islamic State 'seizes main Syria oil fields' - Middle East - Al Jazeera English www.aljazeera.com/news/middleeast/2014/07/islamic-state-seizes-main-syria-oil-fields-20147411112027791.htmlAl-Omar and Tanak oil fields on Iraq border fall to the Islamic State after rival fighters withdraw, activists say. Last updated: 04 Jul 2014 12:24 Fighters from the Islamic State group have seized all of Syria's main oil and gas fields, which are located in Deir Az Zor province next to Iraq, a monitoring group has said. "IS took control of the Tanak oil field, located in the Sheiytat desert area in the east of Deir Ezzor province," late Thursday after rival rebels withdrew, said the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights on Friday. Al Jazeera cannot independently verify the Syrian Observatory's statement due to reporting restrictions inside Syria. Early on Thursday the group seized Syria's largest oil field - al-Omar oil field - on the Iraqi border, forcing the withdrawal of rival fighters. They have still not captured the tiny al-Ward field, which produces about 200 barrels of oil per day and is in the hands of a local tribe, Observatory director Rami Abdel Rahman said. The Nusra Front, which controlled al-Omar since late last year, abandoned the facility on Thursday without firing a bullet, the monitoring group said. A video uploaded to YouTube shows a man identified as "Commander Hammam" saying: " We took it [the oil field] over without any fighting. They fled like rats." Al Jazeera cannot independently verify the authenticity of the video. In Deir Az Zor, the Islamic State - formerly known as the Islamic State of Iraq and Levant (ISIL) - has taken over nearly all the countryside. Its forces are bolstered by heavy weapons captured from Iraqi troops fleeing an offensive that it led. Al Jazeera's Rula Amin, reporting from Beirut in neighbouring Lebanon, said the Islamic State now controlled "a huge expanse of land about five times the size of Lebanon" and oil assets that could produce 35,000 barrels a day. Al-Omar field has changed hands several times in the course of Syria's three-year conflict. The Nusra Front and several other allied factions captured it from forces loyal to President Bashar al-Assad in November. Nusra fighters also withdrew from Mayadeen and Shuhail in Deir Az Zor on Thursday, according to the Syrian Observatory. Local tribal fighters had pledged allegiance to the Islamic State, it added.

ISIL terrorists result of Obama's policy in Syria.
Sun Jul 6, 2014 6:12PM GMT
The ISIL terrorists are the result of US President Barack Obama’s policy of sending weapons to groups fighting the government of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad, an American analyst says.
“President Obama jumped the gun three years ago and declared that President Assad of Syria had to go and the United States was deeply involved and very irresponsibly involved in funneling weapons into the groups that … proved to be hardcore al-Qaeda-linked terrorists. Groups like ISIS that that is now scourge on both Syria and Iraq.” senior editor at Executive Intelligence Review Jeff Stainberg told Press TV on Sunday.
“This policy is a nightmare of inconfidence and it’s going to blow up to our faces on a deeper level,” he said. “The United States is not clear in terms of what the policy is.”
The analyst made the remarks when asked the US government has been providing technical support for terrorist groups, such as Takfiri ISIL militants, to conduct terrorist acts in Iraq and Syria.
According to Press TV sources, the assistance is provided by the US Department's Office of Syrian Opposition Support (OSOS).
The Takfiri groups have Facebook and Twitter accounts and conduct massive activities on these social networking sites.
The OSOS provides anti-tracking and anonymous surfing software to militants in order to facilitate their activities online.
In addition, the US State Department provides security trainings for the militants through two institutions known as The Institute for War and Peace Reporting and Freedom House.

ISIL can catalyze war among world powers: Analyst
Sun Jul 6, 2014 4:14PM GMT
A political analyst says the ISIL terrorists can become a catalyst for a war engulfing the region and spilling over across the world, Press TV reports.
Speaking in an interview with Press TV, Bill Jones, from the Executive Intelligence Review, said the Takfiri ISIL militants pose no direct but certainly an indirect “big threat” to the United States.
“Given the situation in the Middle East if the ISIL would create a radical Islamic state in the region, then that becomes a catalyst for what can become a much more widespread war and chaos involving not only the regional powers but given the interest of other international powers in the region including Russia, China, the United States, we are looking at some pretty serious conflicts between these great powers,” Jones added.
He emphasized that any success of the ISIL cult would have “a very important indirect effect” on the US and on the rest of the countries in the Eurasian region.
The analyst urged all regional countries to create “a fabric of stability” which has been consistently undermined by the US.
He pointed to the support of Saudi Arabia and Qatar for ISIL terrorists and said any kind of the US military bid to defeat, stop or hinder the Takfiri militants will be “a total folly” unless the Saudi role is exposed.
Iraq is currently witnessing a wave of violence, which escalated after militants from the ISIL terrorist group took control of large swathes of the country, including key cities last month.
The Iraqi forces are pressing ahead with their fight against militants from the terrorist group, who have threatened to take the battle to Baghdad.
Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki has said Saudi Arabia and Qatar are responsible for the security crisis and growing terrorism in his country.
