I just wanted to pay tribute to all our members who are current or former Defence Force personnel. Thank you for your service and we pray for your safety and success, whether currently deployed or on home shores.
We also honour all those who have fallen in the defence of the values we hold dear.
"Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn. At the going down of the sun and in the morning. We will remember them"

My father served in the occupation forces and his brother was in the islands and around the Japanese war. He had many friends who were in various POW camps. To the day he died he was violently anti Japanese. When I try to comprehend what men and women went through I cannot even develop a mental picture without a deep mixture of fear and gratitude. More modern fake movies showing the carnage have similar effect. The gift given is eternal to all their descendent sand must be remembered.

IN FLANDERS FIELDS
In Flanders Fields the poppies blow between the crosses, row on row that mark our place; and in the sky the larks, still bravely singing, fly scarce heard amid the guns below.
We are the dead. Short days ago we lived, felt dawn, saw sunset glow, loved and were loved, and now we lie in Flanders fields.
Take up our quarrel with the foe; to you from failing hands we throw the torch; be yours to hold it high. If ye break faith with us who die we shall not sleep, though poppies grow in Flanders fields.

aaaawwwwww! Thanks guys, it is appreciated. And never forget, not all soldiers served in wars zones, many of us were blessed to serve during peace time, although the thoughts were always on how long until we have to fight to keep everyone at home safe, including the moonbats (yes we even fought and died for them too).

I would just like to say that as an Australian citizen I am so very proud of all our past, present and future soldiers.
