there are still plenty of people out there with a good heart its just that the genuine ones don't publicise their actions for views and attention
ironically one of the most genuine people I have ever know also turned out to be a criminal a very violent criminal
I will say he did things for others without them knowing it all they knew was some kind stranger had fixed their bill or arranged for something to be fixed. I remember one year a couple of days before Christmas he asked what was with the gift tree out the front of the Kmart store and the lady there explained it was for disadvantaged kids to get a present that otherwise wouldn't get one
Well his eyes lit up like the Christmas tree needless to say he spent 20k over the next couple of days getting all his boys on their partners to go buy food and gifts for any of those trees they found the reason he got us to do it as a group was so it wasn't just this one guy doing it and that would of gained attention
Another night we were sitting in a restaurant a the bar waiting to be seated when we over heard the conversation between one of the barmaids and the waitress with basic being she was trying to save money to take her son to Brisbane for surgery and because of the recovery time she need to be able to cover hotels and stuff like that but it was hard because she was still covering the costs from her husbands sudden passing in an accident insurance didn't payout because he had alcohol in his system not intoxicated but it did say in the fine print no cover If any drug or alcohol is present in the persons system at the time of the accident
My friend was able to get her talking and get all the details he needed found out what needed to fixed the most and sorted it all out for her plus made sure she ws able to take her son to Brisbane
He was truly a person with a good heart that honestly believed in helping those that were less fortunate but in the end the hammer came down and society held him accountable for his crimes and now is serving life

Nice if it's legit and I hope it is ... but I'm a natural cynic and this kind of scenario is very easy to stage. Buying food at a liquor store? Hmmmm ....

At the precise time of his arrival the nun had looked to the heavens and thanked God for sending me, an angel, in her moment of need. Well didn't I play that card with my pastor friend for months afterward. "But I'm an angel, remember? Even a nun said so!".
