For you 2 way radio fans...
Reshelving discard books is what we do here in the far north...
In a couple of the latest batch of 340 some boxes of books we were given, we found a number of radio related books.. They are older, a couple not in good shape, and mostly all will end up in the wood burning furnace as no one here will take them .. So.... I will try to describe them somewhat.. If anyone is interested, I will look into postage for the whole lot.. And could PM some pictures to interested persons..
(1938) Gernsbacks Educational Library #2 pamphlet.. How to make the Most Popular all wave #1 and #2 tube receivers.. new price 10 cents US
(1938) Gernbacks Ed Library #7.. How to read radio diagrams.. new price 10 cents US
(1990) The 1990 Arrl Handbook for the Radio Amateur by the American Relay Radio League.. BIG and heavy... hard cover..
(1988) The ARRL Antenna Book.. Large paperback..
(1977) The ARRL Antenna Book... Smaller paperback, more a hand book size..
(1972) Simple low cost Wire Antennas for radio amateures... 2 thru 160 meters.. Hand book size by Wm I. Orr...
(1975) Mosfet Circuits Guidebook with 100 tested projects.. by Rufus P. Turner.. paperback handbook size..
(1972) Plessey Semiconductor Products SL600 Series. 2nd edition... Aplications Manual (2 copys) small hand book size.
(1968) Transistor Circuit Approximations, by Albert Paul Malvine... hard cover, average book size..
(1960) ARRL Antenna Book... Looks to have been a paperback, rough shape, but readable, homemade recovered..
(1989) Practical Antenna Handbook, Josehp J. Carr, medium large paperback, good shape..
Looks all technichal to me.. Way over my electrical knowledge level...
I'm going to guess the lot being about 10-12 kilo..
I have no idea what the postage would be for a lot like this...
Again, I would like to see the whole lot go at once.. Pass on what you don't use to someone who can use it..
If they are useable and anyone is interested, I would spring for the postage to include a small treat included there in, but would appreciate pay back for the postage..
Otherwise, I feel Sweetie will resign them to the wood furnace box...
Let me know..
