We pay $1.49/litre. It stays this price for months on end, then either goes up, or, down (very rarely).

Were are in the Nth - I try not to look anymore at the price(will need to do over a 2000k drive south in Nov, so will notice the dearer fuel costs for sure this year) I noticed a couple of servos in T'vlle around the mid 1.45(couldn't see if it was ULP or E-10) mark ours is over 1.50/lt{E-10} (will check later). (Reason for this post now is - Were people aware that if you use a woollies/coles docket you get 0.04c discount - yes this you knew - so take the receipt from those servo outlets after you get fuel and spend $30 at IGA and get a further 0.04 off the fuel price. (look on the IGA web site - it's still active in this regard as far as I know it's national and not just in Qld). So that should make your fuel a further 0.08c/lt off the advertised pump price.

A few years ago diesel got up to about 1.60 and looked like it would keep going, I was building the motorhome at the time and started thinking that I would not be able to afford to drive it anywhere when I finished. Then it went back down and still hasn't got back to that level. And if you think 1.50 is bad go for an outback trip, after paying 2.50+ for a while you will think all your Christmases have come at once when you see 1.50 on the board Bottom line is the fuel cost is just the price of doing business, so far I can still "do business" but it's well possible that it might get to the point that I can't, or at least I have to change the "business" I do. So maybe no more long cross-Oz trips for me at some point, but then I always have the option to sit right where I am and small the roses. If I do that fuel can go to $10 a litre and I will still be able to function normally.

You know we all pay .38c for fuel excise +GST [14c or so], so the real price is about $1/liter.

I run LPG, V8 ute, can't complain too much. I think it's usually around 70 - 80 cents to the liter, I remember when it was 50 cents though, those were good times.

looked at the fuel price at woollies y'day. $1.59 ULP, $1.57 E-10(woollies are the only outlet in the north that are consistent in stocking this fuel and KIA released a statement that said 'That Kia's were perfectly acceptable in using this fuel so all warranties were to be honoured - (or words to that effect it was a few years ago now.)'. Diesel $1.59 The other servos are dearer as a rule but I never looked at them y'day for a comparative price.

Just done a quick calculation for my southern trip in Nov at current fuel prices it will be an extra $180 to $200 on top of last years fuel costs, and I am not sure of the prices across the border ATM.

The values for the Philippines are wrong. We are paying about PHP 220.00 or US$5.20 per gallon way higher than what they said.
