Looking good! I don't think I'll ever get over being jealous of that view. Maybe you and your tribe come and see the view for yourself one day.

Spent 2 days at the retreat with a friend who is an electrician. Wiring in new cabin now finished and I’ve started lining the external walls with R4 insulation. All the plasterboard arrives in just over a weeks time.

Nobody in charge in the ADF has an IQ with 3 digits. They need to dump the bull$hite policies that create their retention problem. And sack everyone in DVA at the same time, give all the money saved to groups like Soldier On.

Dirtdiva was awesome, I hope she is well.
Another MIA is that female doctor from north west USA. She was moving to her retreat from memory.

Cool, 30 minutes cities, no need to own a car, just use public transport. Wonder how people will react when you catch the bus or train to the range with a rifle over your shoulder. Farkwits.

We are currently seeing the collapse of the US empire. I predict civil war there within 10 years.

I suppose America would be fine with Mexico joining the Warsaw Pact, or even Cuba. Oh, hang on…..
The yanks are some of the dumbest people on the planet.

If she also likes Lamborghinis I have a heck of a deal for you ... it would tick both boxes. Nope, but she was keen on a Ford Mustang for a while. Her latest crush is an expensive Italian trap gun. She has a pta in for one.

I’ve got goats: and hares and about 40 ducks last weekend. Plus trout and the occasional pig and deer. And lots of gypsy sheep. The Mrs has a tractor fetish so we might get an old MF one day. I used to pull awesome wheelies on my Dad’s old tractor.

No tractor or implements. I don’t plan on commercial food production, just a monster home garden. Maybe I’ll get a sturdy horse and a plough. Who needs diesel when you’ve got lots of grass.

Quote from a dummy: Climate scientists are developing an umbrella-like shade the size of Argentina that would block the sun’s rays to mitigate the effects of global warming on Earth.
The wild idea comes from Israeli researchers who believe the one-million-square-mile shade could reduce the Earth’s temperature by 2.7 degrees Fahrenheit within two years.
The team at Technion-Israel Institute of Technology is seeking up to $20 million for a prototype of 100 square feet, which they said could be achieved by 2027.
Bwahahaha. If it’s $US20 million for a 100 square foot shade, how much for the one million square mile shade? There’s not enough money in the world to pay for that. No wonder a raggedy bunch of goat lovers are handing the IDF their butts with Israel’s intelligentsia are this stupid.

So is basic training for Nashos the same as for volunteers? Like when my daughter was at Kapooka every recruit had their own 88 and 89 kept in their room. Not DP either, fully functional. And like they could park their cars on base also. How many Lebs forced to be Nashos will just put the automatic weapons in the boot of their WRX and drive home to Bankstown?

What cost of living crisis? I’m seeing ever increasing numbers of parcels in the mail system. Lots of people seem to be compulsive spenders.

If the ex British NCO’s in the Australian Army are anything to go by, then no wonder the British army have a retention problem. Treat your troops better and they might stay longer. A lesson ADF could also learn.
