I also have all the gear to reload all those calibres plus some other common ones I don't have, like 243, 270 and 45acp, just in case. I suppose I should get dies for 7.62x39 and 303 as well.

Any prepper who isn't already well sorted for ammo isn't really a prepper. Yes very true, but I made the mistake against my better judgment, could not help myself and purchased two new calibers, now have to stock up while prices are going up. Then there is the temptation of shooting too much and setting in scopes etc......... I tried to stick to the .22, 9mm, 223, 308, 12g mantra, bought in bulk, then my son buys a 338lm and my daughter decides only a 357mag revolver will do for her little hands. And I see a 30/30 lever I just have to have.

The union leadership in this country is a gutless disgrace. As soon as mandatory vaccinations were announced we should have seen a nationwide strike, with every union standing in solidarity.
Unfortunately union leadership is either spineless or in bed with management. And a large part of the workforce are selfish and gutless, not prepared to lose a few days pay for the greater good.
Some years ago my employer introduced some changes to how we do our work, which appeared to be very minor (an extra tick when conducting our daily vehicle check), but which could have removed our access to compensation in an accident. Our on site union delegate, ex navy, refused to complete the new form and was stood down on the spot. I told him he'll never walk alone, refused to sign, and was also stood down. Out of approx 70 staff in that facility, only 7 refused to sign and were stood down. The rest bent over for management. I called us the Magnificent 7. We were stood down for 4.5 days until we won our case in the IRC. Watching a Commissioner verbally tear the head off our evasive State Manager remains one of my happiest moments. I had a mortgage and a young family, but I also have a backbone. It's a damn shame most workers in this country don't.

What sort of man attacks a woman? Especially an elderly woman. Especially one that is on the ground, helpless.
Not the sort of man that should wear the uniform.

Can we get enough crew for those subs? I seem to remember quite large monetary incentives being offered to retain experienced submariners some years ago.

All that money wasted on subs, when they could have picked up all those M4's and AK's the yanks left in Afghan for free, handed them out to willing local school kids and gone the full Red Dawn on those Chinese arses.
I'll have a free M4 with Acog please, Mr Prime Minister.

DD, You are amazing. I'd love to hear your thoughts on how one could fertilize their garden when fertiliser can't be obtained from the store. I understand one's fertiliser needs depends on the soil type, but are their typical requirements? Are things like seaweed and wood ash useful?

And some training to go with the supplies I assume. I did a tactical trauma course before covid hit and ended face to face training, but would like to do a similar hands on course that deals with long term treatment of minor injuries.

In a hospital collapse - which very may well happen here in the US - with rationing of care now... how are your supplies to be able to manage small emergencies at home? Just did inventory of mine, and it was bad. Thought I had more than I did. What would you suggest for a home medical small emergency kit contain? Sterile dressings (size, numbers?), bandages, antiseptic, over the counter pain relief, butterfly sutures, syringe for cleaning cuts, bp monitor, thermometer? Anything else?

Did I just read that correctly? Biden supports the right for a woman to choose to abort her baby, but forces everyone to have an experimental drug injected into them? Bring on the collapse, it's long overdue.

My wild child, the daughter I adopted 15 years ago, is 32yo and seriously pissed off with the medical apartheid introduced into NSW by Dumb & Dumber (the Premier and the CMO), so today she started a Facebook group where local business who DON'T discriminate based on vaccine status can advertise and where members (150 in the first 3 hours) can swap info on which business have or haven't swallowed the kool-aid. The non vaxxed economy is starting already. Very proud of that girl, even more than when she told Flymaster straight to his face to shut his big mouth or she'd end him.

We buy animal feed wheat in 25 kg bags from the supplier, freeze it for a few days to kill the bugs, then grind it in a whisper mill, (with a backup hand cranked stone mill), and make bread from that, with our own honey and so on. Baked in a standard large bread maker, using solar power from our off grid system. Ive seen the evidence for, I want to see different evidence. What supplier? I've been buying 5kg bags from 2Brothers Foods, but postage is more than tbe product.

I took a 6hr return drive to my coastal retreat today, passing straight through the invisible (non-existent) ring of steel around Greater Sydney. No police roadblocks, just a few mobile hp cars near Batemans Bay. I knew the cops couldn't maintain that ring for long. It probably disappeared 5 minutes after the news cameras left. If there was a real shtf event in Sydney, with hundreds of thousands leaving, there is no way the cops could keep the people in. Up our way you just never see a cop anywhere, anytime even on the Highway or in town ever! Because they are all seconded to the Fixated Persons Unit, hiding in bushes around your property. Waiting for you and your children to go for a walk, so they can shoot you and each other in the back. Rhodesia Ridge, Aussie style.

Bad ass. Getting my hubs to teach my daughter and I to shoot this year. I taught the mrs and both my children to shoot. My son can hit dinner plates out to 1200 yards, and my daughter went on to shoot professionally. She now packs a big .357 magnum revolver

Quote: "Any chance you have a shot of her splitting a beef carcass with a chainsaw ? " Nope, but how about a shot of her hitting the x-ring with my 1911. She's a damn good shot with rifle or handgun. And for the leghumpers monitoring this forum, she is licenced and I am an authorised pistol trainer:
