Drop the carbs and prepare to feel hungry all day.

It's great to have a year's supply of food, not so great to store it around your waist 😁
Well done Rastus, recognising that your health should be a priority prep.
I'll join you on your journey. I'm only 85kg, but wouldn't mind trimming down to 75kg.

Only problem is the US is going downhill just as fast, if not faster, than many other countries.

On the news, England is open for business, just like that. No mandates, no vaccine passports, no compulsory jabs, no lock downs, all gone. Sense at last has prevailed. The colder the x-ray table, the more of your body is needed on it. Not the result of sense. The result of a Prime Minister desperate to stay in power.

Is yeast a western culture thing? Can't you just do what the Third World has done for millennia and make yeast free flat bread?

Anyone reluctant to shoot a bird destroying their food crop is really going to struggle defending their food from starving people.
Survival is brutal.

Just so long as NZ doesn't issue a travel warning to Aus. I want to collect on my bet with Bce1.
Looking good so far, all those vaxxed working around me are dropping like flies with the covid. None of the unvaxxed in my team caught it yet. I can almost taste that cigar and whisky.
And the icing on the cake is Scomo opening the backpacker floodgates.

Imagine if the $US1 trillion spent on sabre rattling in Afghanistan had been injected into your hospital system instead.

The guy who works next to me has it. I still don't have any symptoms, but RAT tests are harder to get than Prohibited Weapon licences at the moment. But as a compromise, if you promise not to roll your eyes when I sprout my uninformed opinion, I will promise to pay for the goodies. Life's too short to waste it on cheap cigars, whisky or women. Only the best for you BCE.

A bolt action .22 with subsonic ammunition does not require a suppressor. They are accurate to 100m. No need to go through all the hoops trying to get a permit for a prohibited weapon.

Stealth, a study in the UK, published in the Lancet, measured the viral load carried by vaccinated and unvaccinated health workers and found the vaccinated workers carried a significantly higher viral load. The cruise ship industry in the US and a number of aged care facilities in Australia have very recently been closed solely because vaccinated staff, residents or passengers have so readily spread the virus. I'm not buying this argument that the unvaxxed are a greater risk when all the evidence points to the contrary.

Stealth, my understanding of your post is that you are under the mistaken belief that being vaccinated for covid reduces transmission of the virus. That is blatantly incorrect. There is an abundance of recent evidence that it is the vaccinated spreading Covid.

I've been wanting to post some progress photos but a member here is coming for a visit early April and Mrs Frostbite wanted what we had achieved recently to be a surprise.

Getting vaccinated for covid qualifies as stupid in my book. Waiting for Bce1 to bite in 3, 2, 1.....

Aussurvivalist was very good until the owner either lost interest or got too busy in other endeavours, and then the Nazis, wannabes and women haters took over. Then the flame wars started. There were some really memorable meets over the years, held by several members, with great friendships forged.
This forum is moderated much better, so I can't see Ausprep suffering the same fate.

I’m still amazed he got a PhD for this and angry he caused John to take the board down as a consequence. I’m the crazy doctor embedded in the ideology. I still think he completely missed the point about why most of us prepare I wasn't impressed with some of his conclusions, but we got over that after a series of conversations and a couple of beers. To be fair, John was already done with the forum before I discovered the Phd. He'd left it in the hands of Flymaster, which IMO was it's death warrant.
