The question is how does one make money from this situation? Energy, defence & mining, in that order. I’m inclined to put defence before energy but yeah some good tips points. I’ve divested from mining a bit. i made good money over the years in mining but wanted more diverse investments. I’m trying to get my head around AI. That’s a whole new industry in it’s infancy waiting to explode.

obtaining a bad credit rating at the right stage of life might be a really good option.
All that printed money had to go somewhere. This time it’s going from the printer to the shredder.
The question is how does one make money from this situation? land and food is an option, gold looks inviting but there are mega bucks there somewhere. I might look into what the rich did to keep their wealth in hard times of the past.

1 minute of searching on our national broadcaster revealed 3 potential pieces of misinformation. 1. Clearly her photos is not unaltered. misinformation. 2. a headline quote “We shouldn't be calling children 'terrorists'. We should be calling children 'children'," WTF? 3. another headline quote “Australia shouldn’t tolerate terrorism- but out normalisation of “intimate partner terrorism has become a national emergency”. A new bandwagon formed after a nut job apparently targeted women with a knife. Misinformation at it’s best. They guy was nil behind the eyes, he like.y had no idea what he was doing. totally unrelated issues. Everyone here should have been prepared for this “misinformation” issue. Heck theres been truckloads of it here too. for me it's business as usual.

Not a good place to be flying over mate. The fog of war is settling in over there and anything could happen. Is there a scenic route to your destination? it might be a good option to divert around that hell hole.

How does it get that sort of range? It must rely on a repeater tower for that distance. Pretty good device though even if only for short range.

I saw a short paragraph embedded in some other info that the US is now the worlds leading oil exporter.. Both Russia and the middle east reducing production.. My thinking being this is the cause of the high fuel prices in North America.. Facts, details, experience, thoughts ?? Australia did something similar with our massive gas reserves. We connected to the global market and now we pay huge amounts for gas. The criminals who approved this contract were never held accountable. We never negotiated a minimum amount to reserve for Australians and Australian businesses. Those businesses would be so much more competitive if they has access to cheaper gas. No doubt the big boys are doing the same to the US. Energy security should be top priority. We also make no profit from these contracts.

I think this is a case of someone falling through the mental health gaps. You could run the opera house through those gaps. We used to put these people in institutions, there used to be at least one of these in the towns I grew up in. They have closed them all. We try and medicate them while out in the public space now and a mass murder every year or two is cheaper than opening them up again.
100% correct. The 2nd generation anti psychotic medications were a vast improvement over 1st generation and like you said they are now medicated and not in institutions. The impact of not getting meds to the unwell can be spectacular, dangerous to the public and expensive.

Apparently the response could be unlawful. What a cluster.
from A(G)BC
1. It highlights section 4(2) of the act, which states:
"This Act does not authorise a person to do, or make preparations to … put down a riot, or other civil disturbance." The legal advice then said:
"In my opinion the declaration is unlawful and police operating under that declaration are at risk of acting unlawfully."
2. “Ms Wild said the other way to challenge would be a civil filing related to discrimination.
"It's not hard to see how it would be discriminatory in practice … [it's] very much likely to disproportionately affect Aboriginal children," she said.” DUH!

They are using some form of emergency legislation (civil disorder) to enact this response. observe carefully cause all states possess this type of legislation. It’s mostly used for natural disasters but has very broad reach when you read into it. So far NT gov has resisted calls to bring in the military saying they can handle it. If they do end up using the military i’d like to be a fly on the wall once it is announced to them i’m hoping and expect there is zero enthusiasm.

Go wild west and deputise good citizens, train them and allow good men and women with police oversight to get the wheels back on this sh!tshow. This crap needs a fundamental change to how the people can develop the solution not just .gov who are clearly incapable at this current time.
update. wow the term lethal force just used by top cop. also detectives now called in to help. I guess solving crimes now comes second to actually preventing them….sounds like proactive policing still has a place!

This looks interesting! Failing to effectively deal with typical unemployed/unschooled behaviour has reached crisis point. NT is a good testing ground for a range of social manipulations and experiments. It will be interesting if this is unrolled in other states to deal with similar issues.
Pros. Short term control of a feral population. businesses can breathe for 2 weeks. Local population less threatened for 2 weeks.
cons. typical band aid fix. will be $$$. will be deemed racist. not calling a spade a spade, UN will squark again. won’t solve a thing. won’t be enough room in lockups. Not targeted so even the good kids treated like trash because of an obvious group. You can’t be racist if you treat everyone like crap.
Thoughts?

SMA is a german manufacturer. I’m sure they still make panels and other components.
I reckon you could make yourself a much better system than the bluetti. I think they are a youtube doomsday prepper hype item.

Orwell was so right in so many ways. When authoritarian governments want to exert more control, they redefine words. "Voluntary" now means "You are free to do exactly what we say or there will be consequences for you. But you are choosing the consequences, so it's voluntary." Very true. The “voluntary” meaning and implementation seems to be based off the military concept of volunteering, as in “if you don’t assault that pillbox private you’ll be shot”. Or “stand here with dark goggles in while we blow up a nuke to see what happens”
