Well presented survival tin. There is a lot of content in the Web regarding survival gear, but this guy is quite impressiveness, quick and to the point. Cool demonstrations, Very useful items in the tin. Sewing, fishing and snares, catapult and traps are well made.

The economic doomsayers are coming out in force for imminent stock market crash. All the indicators have been flashing red for a long time. finance.yahoo.com/news/p-500-bizarrely-overvalued-could-204249144.htmlS&P 500 is 'bizarrely overvalued' and could crash 49% as recession sets in, elite strategist says- The S&P 500 may crash 49% when valuations normalize and a recession hits, Paul Dietrich said.
- B. Riley Wealth's chief strategist flagged market and economic indicators that were flashing red.
- Dietrich titled his latest commentary "The Stock Market Bubble Is About to Burst — Look Out!"
B. Riley Wealth Management's chief investment strategist issued the alarming call in a commentary titled "The Stock Market Bubble Is About to Burst — Look Out!" He compared the buying frenzy to the feverish demand for lottery tickets when the jackpot passes $750 million: "That's when everyone starts to go insane." Dietrich cautioned against putting money into the market now, noting that stocks often surge before a recession hits and then promptly plunge. Bubbles can pop suddenly and disastrously because they're inflated by emotion and momentum, not built on fundamentals such as earnings or economic growth, he said. The Wall Street veteran walked through a raft of flashing valuation metrics and indicators to make his case that stocks were "bizarrely overvalued" and trouble was coming. For example, he flagged the S&P 500's historically high price-to-earnings ratio, unusually low dividend yield, elevated trading range, and infeasible priced-in earnings growth.
"This is how far this bubble has gone," he said. "The stock market is basically priced for earnings growth that has only happened 3% in the past, and that percentage has generally happened when the economy was coming out of a severe recession." Dietrich also pointed to a 180%-plus reading on the "Buffett Indicator," which suggests the US stock market is heavily overvalued relative to the size of the economy. He argued that gold's surge to record highs signaled investors were taking cover from expensive stocks and a faltering economy.

They are not real quakes, earthquake is classified as anything over 4.5 on the Richter scale. But yes having studied geology and worked more than 15 years as a geologist with a keen interest in seismic events (am still in mining and do work related to UG collapses etc.). The West coast of the USA esp. California area is well over due for a big one. It is part of the ring of fire and considering all the tectonic activity - Japan pacific islands etc. The Cascadia Subduction Zone has basically locked up. An earthquake is movement reducing stress. If the fault locks then pressure builds to unprecedented levels and when releases it is a global event - we will feel the waves in Aus. Many people of Christian religious persuasion are trumpeting the 8th April solar eclipse that occurs with a comet on a Jewish holy day as an omen for EQ's to start. It is one of my prediction for 2024 for EQ to ramp up... The Mississippi river all the way from the Great lakes in Canada to New Orleans (Gulf of Mexico) sits on a major fault zone (New Madrid Seismic Zone), Back in 1811 the fault activated, and the Mississippi river actually flowed upstream, new lakes and hills were created, it was felt all the way to NYC and Church bells rung. America is going to be ripped in half. Again it is overdue for movement. New Madrid Seismic Zonecusec.org/new-madrid-seismic-zone/The Great New Madrid Earthquakes of 1811-12 were a series of over 2,000 seismic events, which occurred for approximately five months, beginning December 16, 1811. Several of those earthquakes are believed to have been magnitude 7.0 or greater. 400 terrified residents in the town of New Madrid, Missouri were abruptly awakened by violent shaking and a tremendous roar. It was December 16, 1811, and it was the first of at least three very large (M7 or greater) earthquakes and thousands of aftershocks to rock the region that winter, with the last occurring on February 7, 1812. Survivors reported that the earthquakes caused cracks to open in the earth’s surface, the ground to roll in visible waves, and large areas of land to sink or rise. The crew of the New Orleans (the first steamboat on the Mississippi, which was on her maiden voyage) reported mooring to an island only to awake in the morning and find that the island had disappeared below the waters of the Mississippi River. Damage was reported as far away as Charleston, South Carolina, and Washington, D.C. 00 terrified residents in the town of New Madrid, Missouri were abruptly awakened by violent shaking and a tremendous roar. Internet blackout. ABUJA, Nigeria (AP) — A dozen countries across Africa suffered a major internet outage on Thursday as multiple undersea telecommunication cables reported failures, network operators and internet watch groups said. apnews.com/article/africa-internet-outage-undersea-cables-failure-ac67fd11b4d9ae7cb3959622c5e9e78bThe MTN Group, one of Africa’s largest network providers, said the ongoing disruptions were a result of failures in multiple major undersea cables. “Our operations are actively working to reroute traffic through alternative network paths,” the South African company said in a statement. Network disruptions caused by cable damage have occurred in Africa in recent years. However, “today’s disruption points to something larger (and) this is amongst the most severe,” said Isik Mater, director of research at NetBlocks, a group that documents internet disruptions around the world.

How can restricting ownership to 5 reduce the illegal guns on the street ? Somebody should ask these jerks to show the link. Its bad luck to be superstitious. If someone breaks into you house and steals the firearms they only get 5 instead of 200. ??!!!~~!!~... The illegal's importers send entire shipping containers of guns at a time into the country - that is where the real illegal guns are coming from. For me all new purchase have been putting them other family members license. So total firearm's held on site will not change.

Bit of a long vid, basically 300,000 Jews have applied for firearm licences since the war with Hamas, about 10,000 a day. Problem is they have to undergo range training. There ranges open from 6am to midnight getting people trained. Have posted on this before their gov have removed a lot of restrictions on type and amount of ammunition one can purchase.

Economy showing more cracks that cant be plastered over. US banking crisis is not over, social spending is way beyond sustainable. In Aus the same issue are popping up. Housing affordability and availability of dwellings are down down down, all despite gov intervention, Indigenous close the gap targets are dismal. My ideas for improving the design: Use the coles trollies that have the partition section at the front to divide up your load Weld a mesh tray to the underframe so you can load gear down there as well Weld on a flat bar between the rear wheels so you can stand on it and skate along Maybe a couple of brackets with wingnuts or something so you can secure the rear panel closed to still give you the option of being able to open it up to carry larger items, otherwise, weld it shut. If you want to make a deluxe model, you could rig up some sort of sun shade to give you a little coverage while pushing it Will make a good BBQ grill at destination. The big issue with bug out with just gear on your back, is limited resources. One could take all your gear + 3- 6 month of food, definitely worth the effort to lug it around, Stuff plastic bags everywhere and look like a vagrant. The post was mostly for fun and a bit of light hearted discussion. The annoying European in the vid below, has an interesting method of installing bicycle wheels, some more ideas for your creativity.

A bit of fun from my usual gloomy imminent economic disaster. Gone back to watching oddball prepper and survival vids.
If bugging our on foot a trolly of some sort is very useful. He goes shopping with a machete and axe attached to a trolly - if one did this in the great land of OZ you would be arrested and the keys thrown away.

Just gets better and better. Both indoor ranges in Perth temporarily closes lead contamination of surrounding environment, storage issues, range upgrades depending on who you listen to. One has 850 members how many of them are going to be able to meet their yearly attendance requirements. At the local pistol club this morning, 3 member emailed a local member of parliament voicing their concerns. No response from the local member but all 3 had visits from local police for storage checks.Just a coincidence of course. This is getting serious, the other states will follow all the woke doctrine going around.

I can see why folks wonder about the 10 gun thing. Where it occurs my experience has been this: 1. Often more than 1 shooter in a farming family but only 1 licence holder. (I have no idea why) So the 1 licence holder ends up with other family members items on their list. 2. "The best tool for the job" means even a single farmer will likely own a .22 (birds rabbit foxes - at close range) and putting down small livestock), 12 gauge (birds, rabbits, foxes), .410 (snakes around the sheds), small calibre centrefire (foxes, roos and hares at longer ranges) and a .30 cal centrefire (larger ferals that can't be mustered and sold). 3. Accumulated history - A 50 year old farmer today likely still has his/her fathers and grandfathers rifles in their possession. Quite a few .303, 12G and .22's in this category. Also stuff like 8 X 57, 7 X 57, 303/25 and 30/30. And this was the sad part about the Howard era gunlaw changes and buy-backs - a lot of nice, sensible browning semi-auto A5's belonging to previous generations of farmer got outlawed and scrapped. Great tool for shooting foxes flushed from cover under spotlight.
Yip, NO one talking about human hunting requirements. well over the last few years they have been relentless publishing minimum calibre for humane game hunting. So for each class of animal you need the correct caliber. For example shooting roos with .223 is acceptable but if you want to deal with a pig problem you need something more powerful. The premises being the smaller the caliber used the better for cost, noise and safety.. I was considering getting .338 for water buffalo as that is what is recommended, the humble .308 is not up to the task according to minimum humane hunting requirements. .338 are banned from most ranges and would be banned in WA.. newzealandsafaris.com/shot-placement-for-australian-water-buffalo/#:~:text=To%20make%20an%20ethical%20shot,338. To make an ethical shot on an Australian Water Buffalo Bull it is recommended to use a minimum of .375 caliber although some hunters may use a .338. On our Australian Water Buffalo hunts we have seen that the .338 caliber is moving much too quickly to achieve maximum expansion of projectile which should be bonded, or, first shot even a solid but this can be left to the experts to discuss in depth. What can you hunt (includes recommended caliber) This section presents some of the most common species that can be legally hunted in Australia. Most are classified as feral or pest animals and can be hunted any time. www.ssaa.org.au/resources/hunting/what-you-can-hunt/

Another sign things are collapsing at a rapid rate, fire sales at huge discount for commercial real-estate. "Who Could Be Next": Top Canadian Pension Fund Sells Manhattan Office Tower For $1, Sparking Firesale Panicwww.zerohedge.com/markets/who-could-be-next-largest-canadian-pension-fund-sells-manhattan-office-tower-1Canada Pension Plan Investment Board has recently done three deals at deeply discounted prices, selling its interests in a pair of Vancouver towers, and a business park in Southern California, but it was its Manhattan office tower redevelopment project that shocked the industry: the Canadian asset manager sold its stake for just $1. The worry now is that such firesales will set an example for other major investors seeking a way out of the turmoil too, forcing a wholesale crash in the Manhattan real estate market which until now had managed to avoid real price discovery.

There wont be a daisy chain as the elites in China/North Korea/Russia/USA etc are all in it together. Just distracting the people with their arguments. They are all the same. Yes they are all in it together - the are not Gods, the system will collapse and like dominoes will take the rest of them down. Every major empire in history collapsed due to debt. This is where we are... It wont take much - an earthquake another war, bond market route, Chinas real estate etc, etc, etc.. We are one black swan event away from all bank accounts across the world being frozen. USA is currently is a major banking crisis, pumping trillions of dollars to try and keep it afloat. World is primed for meltdown.

Yip since 2008 been spending and borrowing up a storm with infrastructure projects funded by government. Signs of collapse have bene on the way for a long time. - Construction companies going under
- Youth unemployment
- Thailand making cheaper clothing then coming out of china
- Drums of war beating
- No more peasants and cheap labor - declining population - more deaths than births - people in unaffordability cost of living - fearful to have children.
- Housing affordability despite excess of buildings.
- debit ballooning
- ECT etc etc etc
Sounds all to familiar for Aus/USA/Europe - same issue.
This time it is going to be a global issue not just one or two countries brining the world down - it is all going to unravel - big question is who is going to be the first to go (Black swan) to cause the daisy chain.
