Looks like it is all coming into place nicely. It is good to see you place alot of emphasis on the relationship. Mine is in tatters now, waiting to see the outcome.

I Have been using purevpn for several years. main reason is to bypass the torrent block that has been put in place. Torrents had alot of potential besides the demonized reasons of piracy. Also I can set my browsing origin to any country in the world.

I was an army cadet as well in the southern suburbs of Perth, that would have been around 86 to 89. Good times then

Trouble is a the law can be changed so what is an "unlawful command" now may not be in case of an emergency. I still think that Aussies are WAY less inclined this way, but it could happen. OTOH the "fragging" of officers is not exactly an unknown action. I agree, but we also having a changing culture, where there is no sense of community, neighbours dont know neighbours, Children are being raised on xbox's. Also there is a general dumbing down of society with an emphasis on not questioning your leaders or government. I still dont believe our military would turn on us, but there would be a growing percentage of them that wouldnt give it a second thought.

I think CME would be a bigger issue in the Southern Hemisphere. Some Joint military targets in Oz would be likely targets but EMP would be to hap hazard for them, so direct strikes would be the option. These direct strikes would emmit small doses of EMP locally but would not effect items to far away. The CME is a far greater hazard and with the sun playing up the way it is, far more likely. A shipping container is quite leaky as a faraday cage, but better than nothing. Put continuous sheet metal underneath the floor, ensuring it is electrically continuous. Copper mesh over the air vents. Then you would need to place a copper mesh over the door hinges to provide electrical continuity over all edges, but it can be done. Good website for RF shielding with copper mesh www.twpinc.com/wire-mesh-material/copper/rfi-shielding-mesh

Bloody hell, have to many books on my kindle. went to purchase the Jakarta Pandemic to read, and found out I had purchased it on the 6th January 2015. By the time I finish reading the ones on my current list I will have forgotten again. Just for your interest sign up to www.Bookbub.com. It automatically sends you an email when free books of your interest are available. To be honest I have to many books I like. Another guy to read for short PAW novels is Jerry D Young www.apocalypse-survival.com/jerry-d-young.html#.WQd1_RN96UkI checked his web site and it appears to be down at the moment, so I dont know his status. Lucky I have a copy of all his books Ok it looks like he has gone full commercial now www.amazon.com/Jerry-D.-Young/e/B009NMRQ26

They can work efficiently with the right planning. Something to think about is that the container is already a concrete form work. Many shelters in the US build a steel box, brace it then fill the surrounding hole with concrete. Concrete prices vary drastically depending on where you are. If you go for the closest concrete batcher, then he will remember what you are building and joke about it at the local. If you have the right engineering tools, then the container is a good source of materials to build a good structure from. The best design I have seen with a container is to turn them upside down in the hole. You then build a wooden raised floor on what was the roof. You then apply suitable reinforcement for the new roof. To fix the walls weld 100x100 angles into the corrugations of the walls at 500mm spacings. this allows you to install insulation and utilities then clad. To make it stronger again weld a large square section the length of the container at the midpoint. This can be designed to be a ventilation duct as well or exhaust duct. Lots of other ideas to make a cheap bunker

A friend of mine has just moved back to the suburbs of Christchurch. His house which was rented out at the time was destroyed by the quake. NZ has a major insurance policy to help out with Earthquakes, so he had an extremely quick settlement. He waited a few months until people left the area and things calmed down, then purchased a better house for a cheaper price in one of the older suburbs with good bedrock.

If they are like the briggs and strattons, they tend to burn the exhaust valve, and this will make starting hard and give smoke and sparks out of the exhaust. They also lack in power

You actually watched it! I barely made 5 minutes and realized how far he had fallen. As far as the chinese in Africa. I worked there for 3 years around 2002 and saw first hand their pillaging of the country. The locals lament even now how anything the chinese operate is run into the ground without any investment in the country.

There is still some time to run. 2017 will be a good year for the stock market, with only small dips. House prices will vary over the country as people try to preserve their investments. These will dip nationally on a larger scale about 2019 Interest rates may increase slightly in the 3rd quarter to test resistance. Small conflicts caused by mistrust and leftist goals will develop toward end of year, but mainly next year. Some will have superpower sponsorship in the back ground. Large scale conflicts developing about 2020 and depending on black swan events may be ww3 about 2021-2023 Climate will continue to cool with swings in extremes occuring. Winters will definitely become harder in the Northern Hemisphere And the list goes on

Defintely hide it. We are paid monthly so as a result we do our shopping monthly. It is bad enough the stares we get pushing two or three fully loaded trolleys up to the check out at Coles or Woolies.
What would these people think or gossip about if they saw what was stored away. Some would say we are hoarders to dob on in the first emergency or beg, borrow or steal from. Others would just think we are nuts. Having a farm makes it easier, as there are always sheds that visitors never go in. It also has the advantage of reducing the risk of losing it all due to fire or natural disaster.

Love it, I now realize I met you in mk1 about 10 years ago in Huonville on the water front. good to meet your acquaintance again. Have been following you for years. Hopefully we will catch up again Wow, that's a blast from the past. And another member has just PMd me, we met while I was building the truck all those years ago in Queanbeyan. You can run but you can't hide. Are you in Tassie now? Moved to Tassie two years ago. When I met you in Huonville was basically in front of the missus's family house. After 8 years in south west WA she got home sick. So packed the entire farm up and moved it to SE Tassie, not far from Richmond
