Just on the Aussie accent. Years ago I watched the Aussie film 'Blackrock' about a teenage rape and murder during a teenage surf party. There was a guy, 'Ricko' who had an outrageous 'Bogan Aussie' accent- pretty much the first time I had heard it, at least heard it enough to identify it. At least, until my missus(Northern Beaches of Sydney kind of girl) said. "Babe, that's how YOU sound."
