Two simple pics of our BOV. I have since sold the HF radio and the plates are from another State I lived in for a number of years. It's a Carry Me Camper on the tray which we use almost every 4-6 weeks. This rig has held us in good stead since 2007. Veg.

I'm fan of the 4 wheel drive utes but I just can't justify buying one until I can afford a bit of land just out of town. I don't want to be one of those people that has a 4 wheel drive that never leaves the city.
I currently have a 4 door Holden Barina hatchback - small and cost effective for a city car. I don't believe compact and light weight is a bad thing, it suits my current purpose.

No argument from us… our main car is a Suzuki Alto and we've even chucked sheep in the back lol. But you did ask for pics(?) of BOVs. ps: most of our long range hol/trips have been done in the Alto to save money, the 4wd is only used when really necessary because we're tight-arses

You are correct, VegHead I did ask for BOV pics mostly because I love seeing what everyone has. Bit of eye candy, you know? My car is still in its early days, so I'm thinking of what I can do to turn it into my mini BOV. I plan to pack lite and portable, we're in a situation where we would have to use both my mini beep beep and Elle's Mazada 6 sports to bug out if need be. What with 2 cats, a whippet and a greyhound - there won't be much space to pack a house of supplies. My dream car is a ute with enough pulling power to take a trailer. So that everyone fits in one car. :\ That's why I crave eye candy D:

... Wish i knew how to post photos. Looks like you need to have them online with this forum software. If you don't have a web site you can sign up with one of the many photos sites, or I can stick a couple of pics on my site and give you the link to them.

... Wish i knew how to post photos. Use the "Add Attachment" feature to upload a photo from your pc/mac. It's not available in the "Quick Reply" option - use the "Reply" option at the top RHS of the reply part of the screen.

Ha. I'm curious about it's efficiency though, looks like you would get a lot of losses through friction in those wheels and he sad something about an electric motor [more losses]. Your standard bike is pretty close to the best use of human power and I would wager that you would go further and longer on your normal bike.
