I'm planning on driving most of the way... From where? Sunny Coast. Not as far up as you but it's still a journey for me. I'll be hitting up cleaver in the morning when they open to pick up an order. Then I will probably drive to a station like Zillmere and take a train to Bowen Hills or The Valley. Easy walk from there mate. Hope to see you tomorrow. Let me know if you're gonna be there if you see this in time.

$500 plus stock, buffer tube, castle nut etc. I put top of the line Troy folding iron sights and a vortex razor red dot on mine. Do you have the SIG one? + how are you finding it? Worth the money yay or nay? Cleaver have one on display and they look pretty damn cool

Nah I won't make it, bummer but it's just too far.
I saw that one in Cleavers, looks OK eh? I don't know which one I shot the other day but it worked real well. Had extension barrels I think, but then he just "plugged" in a standard Glock so I don't know how that worked.

I thought it looked really cool so I looked up the SIG one and the guy on YouTube had a few problems with the charging handle. + frostbite what state is that?

Well boys and girls what a great show. Ran into anotheraussieambo at his booth. Didn't twig to me who he was until he mentioned he was an ambo. Meant to come back and give you my card mate. Oh well.

Fairly good show. Got to meet Anotheraussieambo and got some cleaning gear. Would have been good to have a bag of money..... My brother has a WFA1 and I have a look at it, not shot it yet though. My thoughts on it, it is fairly heavy even without a scope on it. I wouldn't like to carry it all day hunting. With a bipod it would be heavier again. Typical of the AR15 style, the bolt lock easily disengages if the gun is bumped. I tried it a couple of times and knocking the end of the stock disengaged the bolt lock and let the bolt go forward. Plus they are a lot of money.
I could see the federal government eventually banning these on the looks and how fast you can cycle them. As long as Nioa don't do a video about them showing how fast they can shoot them and laughing about it, we should be right for a while.

I was at the Winchester stall on Saturday getting all the "clearance" stuff to hand to mates or for myself and people were going wild over the winchester gun bag deals, everyone in the show had one. Me? I wasn't too interested, have like 4 green remington ones from Cleaver so... Was paying for my stuff when someone asked where they were at 1pm and they were GONE. The guy was so bummed, poor lad. Wasn't sure if that was all their stock or maybe they allotted a certain amount for each day. Would have really loved one of those "can in a can" things from Cleaver @ OSA booth, was going to buy one anyway since they're sturdy and lockable. What are your thoughts on the content on the day? + As for the WFA1 I gotta say its pretty and I would love one, however for $3000 it changes my perspective. I could do a lot with $3000. It falls into the "I'd like category". A Rem 7615 is not as beautiful and good looking but more practical and as above comment said it would be a hell of a lot lighter. Loved your joke about the Adler. I feel like NIOA should have been able to publish that without it getting so much attention, they're gun dealers so you can't blame them for wanting to capture the attention of the market. However on the other side they should have known better, keeping things to gun mags and the gun show and this probably wouldn't be all over the news.

I still like the idea of one in 300BLK, but since seeing the RPR (Ruger Precision Rifle) I'm way more inclined to get that if it ever makes it to Oz. 308 and maybe half the cost of the WFA1, or at least a lot cheaper. The 7615 is available in 300BLK IIRC but it's around $3k as well. Truth is I don't need a long-range gun yet and can't afford either right now so I'm free to dream
