To quote a dentist, there is a clearly identified link between fluoridated water and dental health. Those in non-fluoridated areas have far, far worse dental health.

What they also said is that nobody is sure of are what any other effects of fluoridated water are. On balance, it's 'probably' a benefit overall, but that's far from being definitive.
