Amazon have stayed true (pretty much) to the Jack Reacher book this time unlike that abomination that was Without Remorse - Tom Clancy would be turning in his grave!
Everyone thought Tom Cruise was not a good fit in the movies...I tend to agree, obviously on the physical issue but I still thought he did a good job considering.

Much bigger in the series. I don't have a problem with the ladies here derailing the thread. I'm firmly hetero, butt that is a damn fine looking specimen.

I was a bit disappointed in the Picard character in the series...he was a monster that was bigger than Reacher in the book!

Skullcrushers always scared the stuffing out of me! But I also love the 'we're not here to punish ourselves, we're here to give ourselves longevity and health'. So many people miss that in training. No good shredding yourself to pieces only to not be able to move for three weeks.
But also I'll be honest I didn't listen to much else he said. I was a little distracted. 😍🤣

Scott Morrison's remarks about China being 'chillingly silent' over Ukraine labelled 'belligerent rhetoric' by Chinese foreign ministryThe Chinese Foreign Ministry has accused Scott Morrison of "clamouring for confrontation" in Ukraine as the Prime Minister intensifies his attacks on both China and Russia over the looming threat of war.
On Sunday, Mr Morrison said China that remained "chillingly silent on Russian troops amassing on the Ukrainian border", suggesting that Beijing had given Moscow tacit approval for an invasion.

Of course they are. And we are giving them a green light to invade their neighbours.

Xi Jinping will ‘demand’ Putin support Chinese invasion of Taiwan
US Congressman Mike Gallagher says the timeline for Xi Jinping to invade Taiwan has been “expedited” due to the “weakness” the West is projecting on the world stage.
“We should all take note of … the 5000-word document Xi Jinping and Vladimir Putin signed pledging endless friendship and no limits to cooperation,” Mr Gallagher said.
“Xi Jinping has allowed Putin to go ahead with this invasion and has supported some of its key themes.
“I think ultimately, what Xi Jinping is going to demand … is that Putin supports Xi’s claims on Taiwan.
“Xi increasingly sees an opportunity to achieve his fundamental legacy – which is the unification, by forceful means if necessary, of Taiwan with the mainland.”

The covid pandemic was a walk in the park, a minor irritation, for many of us.
Having our sea lanes blockaded by China because we supported a joint military response to a Chinese attack on Taiwan will be the main game. I expect fuel would be rationed or restricted to essential services within days, panic buying to completely strip supermarket shelves even quicker than that. And the situation will last many months, perhaps even a year, with massive unemployment, shortages of everything, cyber attacks crippling our banking and energy infrastructure. That's a possible future I'm preparing for.

Not to be 'that guy', but the travel advisory board have listed Australia as a 'Level Four Travel Health Notice for Australia'. Sure. Entirely off the back of Covid 19, on the basis of CDC recommendation. Sure. The part that you're ignoring is that if you actually go to the CDC website and look up Australia, a 'Level Four Travel health notice' from them equates to:
"Key Information for Travelers to Australia
Avoid travel to Australia. If you must travel to Australia, make sure you are vaccinated and up to date with your COVID-19 vaccines before travel. Even if you are up to date with your COVID-19 vaccines, you may still be at risk for getting and spreading COVID-19. Anyone 2 years or older should properly wear a well-fitting mask in indoor public spaces. Follow all requirements and recommendations in Australia. Level 4 Travel Health Notices are determined by level of COVID-19 in the destination or other special considerations."
Aka. "If you want to go there then fine, just don't be stupid while you're there".
You're entirely missing the fact that the Travel Advisory Board's "Level Four Do Not Travel" doesn't translate to what the CDC's "Level Four Travel Health Notice" actually is, and you've made the mistake of concluding that one equals the other.
CDC = We don't recommend that you go there but you do you. TAB = DON'T GO THERE BECAUSE THE CDC SAID IT'S THE HIGHEST LEVEL OF DANGEROUS DON'T GO THERE OMG OMG (but what the CDC really said is like, you can... But maybe just be careful about it".)
I still think this is a nothingburger situation. USA saying don't travel to places with high illness rates is an obvious step. There's no political messaging. There's no ulterior motive. It's just that it takes a million years to get large organisations to coordinate their responses and it'll probably take them at least six months to a year to remove or reduce the recommendation. Not because of some mass conspiracy, but because of bureaucracy.
