soad I buy my honey off of the local bee keeper, 1 liter tubs for $10. Keeps him in business and keeps quality honey on my toast!
Get into beekeeping yourself. Its not hard and even with veroa appearing, its still a worthwhile hobby. Ive been doing it for over 40 years now, been president of the local bee club numerous times, and can sell all the honey we produce for $6.50/kg to a bulk buyer.
Only have about 50 boxes now as I'm scaling down, but still can produce around 1,000 kg per year. Add the odd pollination service in and good money can be made.
At least I can still drive a header for harvesting, and the local harvest contractor I work for is willing to come and pick me up, take me back to the workshop, and so on, just so we can get harvesting and repairs done.
Lets all take the time to REALLY listen to our KIDS !!

Costco has good bulk foods for storage like honey, Lazy sods, grow your own honey, its not hard...... Kids, they're not sleeping, they're recharging !! For the cost of setting up a hives getting permission from neighbours I could purchase 15 years of honey storage to last 2 apocalypses. Then some mite might destroy you hive and investment. Bugging out with hives is high risk.
