Its not for you to decide.
Spain is nice in the winter.
Correct if you mean it's their choice. Incorrect if you think the government will make the choice for them. You see Tactile, my children were born with a spine. And a healthy dose of bad attitude. They are a chip off my block. Nobody, and I mean nobody, can force them to do something they really don't want to do. God help anyone who pushes them too hard.

Die here, die overseas...what does it matter? Who cares if your kids have a spine? If WW3 happens, a world of crap is coming for them. By advocating the destruction of Europe and a couple of hundred million people, this is what you are saying is good for your descendants and the rest of us. Does your doomsday wet dream fantasy really go this far?

My doomsday fantasy involves my isolated, fully stocked retreat and a half dozen scantily clad Vietnamese backpackers who can't get home. Thanks for asking.

The real worry is the other person, or the young lady who turns up at your front gate holding a baby, with a toddler at foot.
Providing they are willing to help with tasks, like food production, the more the better.
If they bring ammo and weapons, even better.
We have invited our families here WTSHTF. And if they bring their friends, as long as you are willing to contribute to the group, your welcome.
We have some basic accommodation for those expected.
For Great minds discuss ideas; average minds discuss events; small minds discuss people.

The predictions from the USA this morning are for food shortages, in the great food bowl of the USA ! Lack of furtaliser and dry weather is to blame, supposedly, but I wonder if its not deliberately planting crops to fail to cause such a shortage. The globalists no doubt, have thought of that senerio.
I wonder what our strategic fuel reserves are running at, even if we have some anymore. Time to top off the fuel drums again, only a few hundred liters down so no hurry, but the next trip to town will see a couple of drums included in the load.
Why do a bunch of weird psychos decide how we have to live-as if this planet is theirs ?

Strategic fuel reserves in Australia are near zero as far as I know. The reserve is held in the US, not here.

Then the stuff has to be got out here. Difficult in a war situation. Stupid Govts, leaving the sovereignty of Australian independence with outside forces.
Even more reason to get off grid and independent of these evil men.
Governments produce scarcity by shutting off pipelines, shutting down farming operations, taxing productivity and deliberately causing food shortages and inflation. Money printing steals savings from everyone, creating scarcity of the purchasing value of dollars previously earned.

Eighty per cent of all Western Governments now operate in a condition of total idiocy, they are defrauding their law abiding, taxpaying citizens and creating an increasingly deficient standard of living for them! It's particularly nefarious in Australia where the incompetence, corruption and malpractice in all levels of Government continues at a pace which largely continues unchecked!

The overwhelming majority of politicians serve the wealthy and powerful, not the common citizen. You will not get anywhere in a major political party without the right backing, so it's inherent in the system. The only possible light I see are the independents. The teals are looking reasonable so far, but we won't really know until we see how they act if they get the balance of power somewhere.

"The only possible light I see are the independents."
The only possible light I see is collapse.
No matter how paranoid or conspiracy minded you are, what the Government is actually doing is worse than you can imagine.

I thought our reserves were held in Singapore ? My understanding is that our fuel is refined in Singapore Yes I think thats true, but the actual strategic reserves as I understand it, and has been mentioned elsewhere in the thread is held in the USA. So whilst the day-to-day fuel that powers the civilian economy comes directly from Singapore for the most part, the supply of last resort is warehoused (or rather supplied ... a subtle but important difference) from out of the USA. Even if it _was_ wholly based in SIN lets think about what that would mean for us in the case of a serious conflict in the Indian Ocean or Philipine Sea/East China Sea regions. Depending on the capability of the aggressor we could very easily find ourselves cut off from shipping based supply. Anything coming from the USA or Europe/UK would just be a pipe dream.

The teals are looking reasonable so far, but we won't really know until we see how they act if they get the balance of power somewhere. I absolutely disagree with the Teals POV, however, the idea of a small loose coalition like them is the only sane way forward imho. It seems apparent that many, maybe most, european countries have governments made up of a string of smaller parties brought into coalition to govern. I like this because the big monolithic parties don't have anything to counterbalance them. They spew verbal diarrhea during election campaigns then when finally getting into power do whatever the hell they want, and its rare they get any sort of meaningful pushback. Voting for 'the other side' 4 years later just gives you a different coloured version of the same thing.

USA will apparently run out of diesel fuel by 14th November. If these jerks think they are going to waste my strategic reserve they have another thing coming.
If it does eventuate that diesel fuel is in short supply, expect increased food and commodity prices.

We do eat oil. It is throughout the supply chain and is not an infinite resource. We should not be burning it. It has far better uses. The day will come when we will curse this wastefullness.
