And the Japs were squinty eyed, buck-toothed and couldn't see in the dark. That didn't work out well for us. The Japs were invincible until they met a bunch of untrained, part-time Aussie infantry near a village called Kokoda. Don't forget Milne Bay - first time defeated on land.

I like the 'lazy farm' idea. I feel laziness deep in my soul, and this appeals to me rofl. I'd rofl too, but I'm too lazy to get off my chair!

Fatal Contact - Bird Flu in America. Watched it not long ago - eerily similar to coronavirus. Spoiler - the very last scene - pick the dead person moving his arm to get more comfortable

"One day Adam went off on his own and returned home very late. As far as Eve knew, they were the only two people in the garden. But just in case, she waited until Adam was asleep and then she counted his ribs."

"I gather that in heaven there were two queues. The notice above one said, 'Henpecked husbands,' and the second read 'Husbands not henpecked.' The first queue was much the longer, while there was only one man in the second. St. Peter asked him, 'What are you doing here?' The man said: 'Well, I don't know, my wife said I should come here.'"

Took another four Kaffir Lime cuttings, dusted, and planted.
Some of my seeds in the hot house are coming up - mainly tomatoes - I might even plant a few out bush and see how they go left mainly unattended.

This will be my shower, once I get the water supply done; Gas fed hot water service, flow off runs into a collection pool till it cools, then into the garden ( another future plan ).

At my bol, I'll be using IBCs. They are free from many farmers, and once cleaned, will hold 1000l rainwater. Down side - they must be out of sunlight, as algae will grow easily - I plan to paint mine black, and have then stored in a shelter with no sun light. I can have 6-7 where I am, and they will be tapped direct into a tap inside my cabin. I'll have another 2-3 for garden water, and have them on a small drip system to water trees and garden.

Planted more seeds today in my little hot house - Thai Rose tomatoes, Purple Thai Basil, some native seeds I'd bought - Cape Gooseberry, Creeping Saltbush, Snow Currants, as well as a few avocado seeds.
Also put in four cuttings from my Kaffir Lime tree - if 2 work I'll be happy.

I'm not sure who will win - the last election I expected Hillary to win, and the world to go to hell in a hurry.
Now, I just don't know. I did hear that the last election less than 50% of eligible voters turned up to vote. I think with the riots, more people will turn up to vote, and possibly for Trump. I think the media attacks on him will be relentless, and I can see him doing or saying something to destroy his chances of re-election.
If Trump wins, then there will be more riots and protests, and people will get sick of this, and retaliate, then it will all be Trumps fault! If Biden wins, he'll be gone in no time, stepping down due to health reasons, then the far socialist Left will take over, and then the right will protest! Either way, it will be ugly.
Not sure about a 'Civil War", more ideology against ideology. Some more conservative states may break from the US, and form their own state/nation. Then I see the Army being called in, who I don't think will fire on their own, so in come the UN and "Peacekeepers" to bring these rebel states into line. Then it will be on. I can only see this happening if Biden wins.
Then again, some states may 'break away' if Trump wins - California, Washington State etc.
What worries me the most, is what other nations will do when the US is in turmoil - China, North Korea, possibly Russia. Arab nations may go for each others throats, Iran may attack Israel, then it will be on!
Get your brooms ready, because I think there will shortly be a huge mess! I hope I'm wrong, but..........
