I was taught in my security course years ago, that it all comes down to what you say. As long as you say, I feared for my life, and I used equal and reasonable force to defend myself, you can beat someone to a pulp, just stick to to that saying and don't falter from it. If the police ask, could you of done it this way, say no. If you say yeah I could of, you'll get done.

Was back at the surplus store today. They have awesome deals on. Lots of small random stuff from as little as 50c, most people were overlooking them, I bought up. Definitely well worth a vist.

Just to be clear, I do have greater variety in the pantry than just [various makes & models] of chili... Yes, different sizes and flavors of tuna.

I was in the Air Force cadets in the late 90s, it was good fun, learnt different skills that will definitely come in handy if shtf. I do remember being told that we no longer issue raincoats to cadets because cadets shouldn't be in the rain.

I spent my teenage years in Perth. Remember marching in the Anzac Day parade as a cadet sometime in the nineties. Did an extended visit to all the surplus stores (about six from memory) on Wellington Street straight afterwards, only to find them all full of cadets, but with no-one having enough money to actually buy anything. When I went back as an adult (but pre-internet shopping) actually found the camping shops on William street were much better value for money. Also remember trying to borrow a replica tommy gun from their gunshop for a school play, however their strict proof of age rules meant no-one would even talk to us unless we had a driver's license. What cadets were you involved with??.

I visited the wellington st army surplus store last night, I discovered that they are closing down unless someone buys the business. Talking to one of the employees they are going to have closing down specials, at the moment it is only a couple of dollars off. They are due to close end of august so there may be some better deals towards the end. It's a little sad, I use to visit the store all the time when I was doing cadets 18 odd years ago. Not many surplus stores left in perth.

You may be able to get a liner to put in there. I helped install a couple of massive water tanks 17 odd years ago and they had heavy duty plastic tarpey linings.

So will I need to leave it in longer if that's the case? Found out the missus turned it off at the wall then back on mistaking the plug for the rice cooker and it didn't work after that, just the fan not the heater I think mine has a reset button, yours may do too.

Anyone know if Ebay Geiger counters are any good? Looks like you can get samples to test out your geiger counter?

Speaking of NK, they are saying that it looks like this current wave of cyber attacks across the world originated in NK Yet again, we'll never know the truth. If Israel was conducting nuclear tests, it'd be their fault. If the penguins in Antarctica had pissed off the media, they'd suddenly be the most feared hackers in the world. DON'T MENTION THE PENGUINS, THEY SEE AND HEAR EVERYTHING.
