My meditation chair My modern version of the bush chair. I removed the metal legs of this folding chair so i could fit the seat in my pack. When i get to my camp site i just cut me some new legs. A piece of rip stop nylon form spotlight always comes in handy Produce bags put to good use

If you wanted to build these but had no cordage, what could you use in that area for binding? Just curious!

If you wanted to build these but had no cordage, what could you use in that area for binding? Just curious! Very difficult Rem, There are vines in those wetlands i could have used if i had nothing. Ive also used Lomandra longifolia which is quite common, plaited into 3 strand cordage. In a true survival situation i wouldnt be making most of this stuff as my job is to be rescued not get comfortable and build bush furniture . This is stuff i do for a bit of fun. I dont walk into the bush without cordage, ferro rod, knife, whistle and signal mirror on a lanyard around my neck.

Great use of cordage. Makes me want to store more para cord! Forget paracord mate, too expensive. Go to Bunnings and get packs of Venetian blind cord, very heavy duty cord. Comes in various lengths and only a few bucks.
