But you - my very young padawan - still have much to learn. There's a reason that operatic singing has endured for several centuries.... and not just because sopranos are often beautiful women... |

I remember many yrs ago when I worked in the city walking past an enormous HMV cd shop and hearing this blasting out. The pure voice against the backdrop of the busy city at lunch time was entrancing.

Filippa Giordano (like the Jane Zhang clip I posted above) is more a pop-style singer. Nothing wrong with that.
One of the best recordings of Casta Diva I've ever heard is by Renée Fleming.
