Not at the moment. Our previous host dropped the bundle big time and we're still working through getting a replacement site up and running.

My Mess tins plus that knife arrived, very happy and a great deal. Thank you Nighthawk. If you have those FRED's maybe you can do bundle deal with those mess tins for anyone interested? i'd be keen to buy another handful of FRED's if the price is right. THey are the kind of thing you can stow away and forget about, but years later be desperate for a can opener and the good old thing will work every time.

**drool** i noticed you have the 2L SAF canteens mate, do you have any pouches for them? I love the2L canteens but havent been able to find pouches :-) Thanks for putting the effort in with all this NH! I did something which was reaaaaaaalllly ugly, but it worked. Found some old crusty Bren gun mag pouches(I think thats what they are..either that or a 'basic' pouch from the 37 model British webbing, I'm not sure....) The 2l SADF bottle fits in, and will do up if you take a knife to the pouch cover. Probably sacrilege to the military collector, but it works...

The only store like the here in the NT is in Darwin City itself, to get to it I'd have to take 3 buses then walk about 5 blocks to get there and they aren't cheap. The store has lots of Amy gear and even though it's cheaper then Mitchell's it costs a lot to buy it. I plan to go in and take an other look as I haven't been in there since last year.

Cool, just found this post!!!
Hey Mr Hawk, can you get the auspacks, the old army issue ones, that were the first to come out in camo? I loved those as they had straps on the outside to put almost any mixture of pouches on you wanted, much more versatile. sadly they demanded them all back when I discharged.
Also, can you get pack frames? Extra pouches of different sizes? Webbing sets? shoulder straps, belt (including the wide padded under-belt)

The best local surplus store we had 20 years ago used to work closely with my Guard unit. he was very pro-military, and would give us a good break on anything he sold The unit would barter excess stuff it was getting rid of in exchange for stuff he might have that people needed. sadly he and the other surplus place in town closed down within a couple years of each other and now there's nowhere within a 20 mile drive for me, and a comparable quality place is even further away
I still see the old owner of the closed surplus stuff once or twice a year at the local schools when we both show up to give talks to the kids about our military experiences
