Looking for a high quality item and you want the best, something that other people have tested in numerous conditions and used, some might say abused, but have stood up to the pounding and are still kicking. This thread is to recommend a product that you've bought/received, thoroughly used and would recommend to your close friends or family as good quality.
I'll start with an item that's been mentioned in a few threads of late, multitools. My favourite multitool is the Leatherman Wave. I have the previous model, with 154CM blades, not the current model 420HC blades. I've used it in a range of environments, on a huge variety of tasks. It's fullsize and what I consider to be full capability but not too heavy that you'd consider leaving it behind because of weight. Before shipping, it can be found for around US$90. I bought mine for $66 dollars several years ago. I should have gotten 5. Though I haven't broken a single thing on it and it's got a lifetime warranty, I just like it so much I'd be happy owning 5 haha.
So what other items are people looking for recommendations on? I'm kinda a gear whore...

A few things i have that i would buy again. LedLenser P7 LED Torch. It spent its first 12 months of my possession strapped to the barrel of a 12Ga shotgun. Never once missing a beat and putting up with shot after shot of beautiful Boito recoil. The past 12 months it has been from the car, to camp gear, to belt, to range box...dropped, left outside even rattled around in the Hilux tray for about 2 weeks (Thought i'd lost it) Apart from a few scratches, its still perfect. Very highly rated. Next, My Gerber LMFii. This has taken an absolute crap load of abuse. A clean and sharpen after each use and its just like new. A Knife i would highly recommend. My FDC 5w Handhelds straight of the slow boat from China, these radios have well exceeded my expectations time after time. Range, available accessories, quality and user program-ability have these cheap little units miles n front of the rest i have played with. Highly recommend this for anyone looking for decent units on a budget. If anyone would like some pics of the above items, just let me know

I've got Baofeng UV-5R 's that I picked up for $40 a piece. They're pretty good, especially at that price.
