Let's go back to the beginning
USA was backing Ukraine
Ukraine is on the Russian boarder
Russia dose not want the USA on its doorstep
To bring it to Australian terms
China sets up a "revolution" in new Zealand that's supported by China, on a few minor conditions like allowing Chinese military presence, as both australia and its people will feel very uneasy with China on Australia's back door...
Russia steeps in to "attempt" to ease the situation (its a Russian problem, like east temor was a Australian problem)
Now drama queen Obama is having a hissy fit because it ruined his golf trip
Tony Abbott sees it as a oppatuinity to be remembered in history as a war time leader
And now the pissing contest has moved to the next level, its not a act of war, yet...
If the world was serious a large Armada of war ships would be amassing near the Ukraine as a show of force, not "I'm going to smack your bum bum with a small economic restriction"
Its all bs, if its that much of a issue, we would already be at war, its a focus shift that works well with budget debates, USA and its riots, UK and its Muslim issues, France and its Muslim issues, and this Islamic state issues (what don't think we have people there now??) usa is already doing air stikes and dose not want to admit they fooked up less than 2 years after withdrawel (i think its less than a year) and israil has agreed to peace so cant focus on that any more....

The move comes amid first-hand reports that Donetsk, the Russian-backed militia’s unofficial capital in east Ukraine, has descended into chaos.
Sources inside the embattled city have told News Corp Australia the city, without electricity or gas, was rife with indiscriminate violence including rapes and murders and daily deadly bombings.
Most of the victims have been civilians who have either yet to flee the region or have nowhere else to go.
The Ukrainian National Security and Defence Council today accused Russia of sending at least 32 tanks, 16 weapons systems including Howitzer cannons, radar systems and 30 truck loads of armed fighters and ammunition.
Spokesman Colonel Andriy Lysenko said the latest convoy of troops and armaments came through Izvaryne border post which is in militia control.
“Redeployment of military equipment and of Russian mercenaries to the frontline continues,” he said.
The entry of the equipment also in the Luhansk region came as five Ukrainian soldiers were killed and 16 injured in the past 24 hours." |
