I've been playing DayZ lately. It is a computer game that is an online survival game. It is a zombie apocalypse but there are not many zombies, it's mostly other real players you need to watch out for. Some are friendly, most are not.
If you die, you lose everything and start from scratch again.
When you start, you start with no food, no drink, just a torch and a battery. You need to loot houses for food and gear.
Guns are scarce and so is ammo.
It's a game that is in alpha so it's not the finished product, still in development.
It's $30 on Steam. If anyone has it or wants to play it with me let me know.

Used to play it alot. I've played all the variants from its release as an arma 2 mod all the way through to stand alone.
It can't keep my attention anymore as it's either kill everyone on sight or be shot in the back and the endless scavenging with very little progression is uninspiring.

Sounds like how I am with pretty much any game, templar. I last about half an hour before I get bored and just kill things on sight....red dead redemption, GTA, COD, pretty much anything hahaha

I use to play when it as the arma 2 mod. Is the stand alone version better now? I quit because it was simply way too hard haha

I've been playing the standalone. It's getting better, as it's still in development they are bringing out new things regularly and fixing bugs. It's still probably a year or more away from being released as a finished product but it's still fun in it's current state, particularly if you have friends playing with you.

It's like Skyrim and World of Warcraft had a love child  I haven't played it but it looks amazing. Hubby and I were thinking about getting it but i was pregnant and it came out within a couple of weeks of my due date... Newborn baby and highly addictive MMORPG equals no sleep, ever again  |

I've been replaying Fallout3. Epic stuff. I even nuked Megaton by setting off the big bomb just to kill Moira because she was so annoying.
Then I went back to explore the ruins...
...and SHE COMES BACK AS AN INCREDIBLY ANNOYING GHOUL!!!!!!!!
