Hi Guy, I am wondering if anyone can direct me to any source that shows how to make, ethanol, pure alcohol etc. To be used as a fuel source, not for drinking.
What I am looking for is, what type of plant material should I grow to make the ethanol, where is a good place to pick up the brewing equipment etc. |

What I am looking for is, what type of plant material should I grow to make the ethanol, where is a good place to pick up the brewing equipment etc. Ebay may be good place. You will need something to ferment, like sugar and water as a very basic one and of course yeast. once its all fermented it needs to be distilled, if your not drinking it you don't need to charcoal filter it or anything. To get it really pure you will need to distil it a couple of times and there is a process to doing it right. Try googling DIY Spirits or something. Also Ebay has a wealth of gear including turbo yeast, in a SHTF scenario you could just let the natural yeast in the atmosphere do the work, but it wont give you the same yield in return. |

lol yes technically a federal offense, however allot of people are doing it and they sell everything you need on Ebay. A wood gasifier is an awesome thing but it can't make pure ethanol that can clean and sterilize things.
