I have created a few threads for these questions! They have been taken from www.edthatmatters.com/preparedness-questions-for-a-better-online-community/ and I thought they would be good to ask here! "I read a lot in an effort to post the best PREPAREDNESS content on Prepper Website. Sometimes though, I wonder if the Preparedness Community might have some questions that are not getting answered by the Preparedness websites and forums. In an effort to provide a place to exchange ideas and gather information, I have created this questionnaire with 4 short questions." (quote from above link!) What EMERGENCY is your biggest concern? Feel free to elaborate.

Today its a pandemic, aka Ebola, watching this mess unfold is a extreme worry (OK I believe the death toll in the west will be around 20-25% of the population, but that's enough to change our dependent lifestyle)

The greens party taking a governing majority in both lower and upper house lol But really I agree with pandemic and a little homegrown terrorism (not such a risk now but may increase in the future if it can't be stamped out asap)

Financial system shitting itself, that's a given IMO. Maybe pandemic although I don't think it will have any legs in a western society...still you never know.

I agree with finance but historically it has a trigger (don't know what trigged the recession tho out side mass forclousures??) And a pandemic is a excellent trigger

Yeah, most of the things we go on about are interrelated, so I tend to look at the expected end result as that's probably the same regardless of the cause, or at least there are several levels of end result, from just services getting expensive (already happening I suppose) to full-blown Mad Max.
Bottom line for me is A) to have no real (ie needed for survival) dependencies on the system and B) be able to defend myself against expected threats (I have yet to really define "expected threats", but it's way below fighting an organised militia, let alone the Army).

While my main focus for prepping is war and economic collapse, pandemic really scares me!

Once we move to our new house, bushfires will probably be our biggest concern, followed by general storm damage. As for something more major, civil unrest and loss of services caused by any number of factors; war, economic collapse, pandemic etc
