A couple of old door hinges, make sure they are solid as the heat will distort them otherwise. The chimney is a piece of 50mm water pipe.

A piece of 50 x 50 x 5 angle welded in place. Everything you see used is scrap. A piece of flat welded inside the door cavity to stop the door from closing to far and a another piece of flat for the latch.

Looking good! This is a nice little project I may try myself. Could possibly be set up for either a grill / plate on top or an interchangeable collar to house a camp oven. Best of both worlds!!

All cutting is done with my Makita 125mm grinder using the 1mm thick cutting discs.

Legs to be made over the weekend and chimney extensions from local exhaust shop hopefully. All going to plan legs, chimney, etc will all fit inside wood heater. The complete unit will then live in an old milk crate for easy transport. If anyone has questions feel free to ask, if you require a better picture of a particular piece just ask away. Will post final pictures when completed. Remember that there is no such thing as a failed project, it's just part of a larger learning curve so imagine away and go for it.
