Figured it was the easiest way to explain it and maybe inspire others to have a go.

This is great and I am impressed by your craftsmanship, for something "rough" you made out of "scrap" it has turned out to be quite good.

Legs are made from hollow tube with headless bolts fitted into tubes, nuts are welded at equal spacing around flange. Simple exhaust tube from the local exhaust shop flanged at one end to be stacked on each other.

When disassembled it all fits into an old milk crate for storage and travel. All painted up in heat resistant black.

Ready to rock and roll. Hope you enjoyed my ramble down the creative lane as much as I did, hopefully I have inspired a few of you to go forth and create something as well.

I have an old gas bottle with the valve removed and filled with water, you have inspired me to copy you without a single deviation, except my unit may not be as pretty as yours and well, I still need to make that time to go do it. Great project and I thank you for sharing it with us mate.
It looks like you painted it too? what did you use? and will you be cooking straight onto the painted surface I.E will food be in direct contact with it?

Up and running. Painted with Heat resistant exhaust paint so wouldn't recommend direct cooking off the plate, makes a mess anyway. We will use a cast iron pan or pot sitting on the plate. Amazing how little wood it uses for the heat output as well.
